      On June 4, 2022 I had breakfast with a *********************** at Eggs, Inc. We received a **** of $28.67. Left a Cash tip and proceeded to front desk to pay ****. **** was rung for $68.80. I did not notice the discrepancy until reconciling my bank statement. I immediately called ************** and talked to a ****, who said he was the manager. He was aware of the discrepancy and said that it would be corrected. I have checked my statements repeatedly and spoke with **** who asked for my address to send me a refund check and then asked for my credit card number, expiration date and security code. I have seen no resolution to this problem. I visited the establishment on Friday, July 15 and asked for ****. An employee disappeared and said that **** was gone and would return in 20. minutes. I left a note stating that I was there looking for a reconciliation to this problem. **** called me 20. minutes later while I was driving and left a message "stating that he did not appreciate me appearing at this store." I called him Friday afternoon and he stated that his bank showed no problem. I have the receipts of what the purchase was and what I was charged. I would like the difference of my checks, $40.13 returned to me.

      Hello my name is *********************** from Eggs **** I am aware of ******************* claim. ******************* called me about this issue, and I immediately called my cc toast processor. They told me that only $28.67 was charged not $68.80. I told this to ********************. I want to resolve this with *******************. Attached is the email from the CC processor.       I am rejecting this response because:  This matter should have been reconciled no later than 5 days after the original transaction.  It's a simple matter of crediting my account for ***** and debiting it for 28.67.  My credit union shows the debit of ***** and no other action by the restaurant.  On the advise of counsel and my credit union fraud department, the credit card company will handle this matter.  I want no further contact either by mail or telephone from ***** who called me on July 23rd and asked me why I had filed a complaint with the BBB. 

      As stated this problem should have been resolved with 5 days or less of the transaction.  ***** can deal with the credit card company.

      Hello this is *********************** at Eggs **** I received the letter dated August 1, 2022 that ******************* rejected the response that my cc processor confirmed that only $28.67 was charged. For this matter to quickly be resolved if ******************* can show proof from his cc company that he was charged $68.80 and not $28.67 I will gladly refund his money. Thanks
