I went into Good Year Car Repair Plus, located **************************************************************. My car needed A/C compressor due to my car not blowing any cold air. I also asked them to fix my cigarette lighter, it wasn't working and I needed to charge my phone while I drive. They called and said the car was ready for pick up. When I arrived to pick up my car the battery was dead, they said I needed a new battery. They jumped my car and when the car came on the check engine light was on! I asked about the engine light being on and they said it was on when I dropped it off, which is absolutely not true, nor did I need a battery. I told them my engine light was not on and has never been on. I told them I also replace my battery regularly and had no problems with the battery before I dropped it off. They continued to tell me my engine light was on when I brought it there and that I also need a fuel pump, which was never mentioned when they called or when I arrived. It wasn't mentioned until I questioned the engine light being on in my car. By me being senior and not having any support I took my car home. I then purchased a battery through AAA, as they suggested, AAA came out to my house and put in a battery and every light on my dashboard came on and have been on since I replaced it and they refuse to fix whatever they did to my car. Now I have every light on the dashboard on, my air conditioner won't blow, my radio won't come on (and worked just fine before), and the cigarette lighter doesn't work!

Goodyear was negligent in repairing my 2018 **** Explorer. Goodyear was paid by my insurance company to repair my vehicle after an accident. My truck was bucking after being repaired by Goodyear. We took the car to a **** Dealership and was informed the front left control arm bolt was loose. **** removed the lower control arm and reinstalled with the proper hardware and lock tight the spindle. After a road test, the issue was confirmed resolved. Why did Goodyear not test drive the vehicle before releasing it to me? Why did the Goodyear technician not make sure the bolts were secured. We have submitted the report from **** and have not received any resolution. Can you please with our reimbursement of ******, which is what we had to pay ****.

I took my car to **************. to get some suspension work done on it a few weeks ago. Before I left, the Hispanic guy said, "You're going need work done on the subframe". That was suspicious. Then, a few days later, I started hearing a rattling noise. Took it somewhere else. There's a hole in my sub frame, causing my suspension to rattle. They told me that GoodYear either did the work on my car knowing that my sub frame was already damaged or they damaged it while doing the work! If it was already damaged, they know they should not have done any suspension work to my car. Now I have to pay more money! Goodyear didn't even give me money back or negotiate with me or anything. These people are clearly not mechanics. They're just doing the work and not even informing customers of damage that *** already be there that should be taken care of first. Or they screwed my sub frame up while doing the suspension work. I paid almost $800 for GoodYear to do the suspension work and now I have to pay another auto repair shop $1500 for a sub frame, when either Goodyear knew my sub frame was damaged and didn't notify me or they damaged my sub frame. I want a partial refund because they were not supposed to do suspension on my car either way.

I am rejecting this response because: This is a lie! First of all, no one ever showed me my subframe had a hole in it...AT ALL! What they showed me was that my tire had PLAY. I thought the man said ****, so I didn't think twice about it. However, the man didn't tell me what PLAY was and that I needed my wheel bearing fixed until the suspension service was done and I was about to pay. And on top of that, the man said it was not serious! He watched me walk out of the place knowing that my subframe had a hole in it and that I needed my wheel bearing replaced, as well. No one showed me I had a hole in a my sub frame BEFORE the suspension service or AFTER the suspension service. The only thing the guy said was that I'm going to need a body shop because my sub frame was STARTING to rust. That does not sound like your subframe has a hole in it...your sway bar link is disconnected because of this. I had to go to another repair shop to find that out. I don't know what type of business these people are running but this place seriously needs to be shut down. They had issues even finding out the source of the problem. I should've walked out the place then. And as you can see, the problem was never fixed. And I even heard the older man say, "Man, this car got so many aftermarket parts on it". What does that have to do with anything? I don't know what solution this will bring. All I know is that the Better Business Bureau needs to be made aware of how Goodyear on **************. is scamming people out of their hard earned dollars and not fixing the issue. They're actually creating more problems.

      Sincerely,

      *******************************
