On August 2, 2022 two employees from Stanley Steemer, **** and ******, came to my home to pick up three area rugs to be cleaned off site. I paid $560 for this service. When the rugs were returned to me on August 13, 2022 one of the rugs was damaged. The rug was returned to me with uniform black stains (indicating being run through a machine) and the fringe was cut off and jagged. I contacted Stanley Steemer on August 13th regarding the damage to my rug, but they refused to take accountability for the damage or offer a resolution. I was contacted by a representative from Stanley Steemer on August 17th yet after several phone calls and emails they stated that my rug was stained (with uniform black marks from machine) when they recieved the rug at their facility. This absolutely untrue! When my rug was picked up from my home there was no stains and the fringe was intact. Stanley Steemer has pictures of the damaged they cause to my rug claiming they received it in that condition yet these photos are not date/time stamped. I sent a rug out to be cleaned and it came back in worse condition!
