My daughter brought her iphone 12 to Cell Choice on September 4, 2022 because her lock screen froze up and she couldn't use her phone and she had a sim card stuck inside. Cell Choice said they could fix both problems for $195 and she could pick it up on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. After my daughter picked up her phone it was working fine until the following week on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, she said it was doing the same thing and she was unable to use her phone. This is very upsetting because they took almost $200 from her and only temporarily fixed the problem. I called there to see if we could get at least a partial refund and they refused and said we could bring the phone back and they would fix it again, which I didn't want to do since they didn't fix it right to begin with. My husband then called and spoke to someone and he said that we would bring it back on Saturday, September 17, 2022 when they opened at 10:00 a.m., but that we needed it fixed that morning (the first guy I talked to said he could fix it in 35 minutes). That guy my husband talked to said that they couldn't open at 10:00 a.m. that day because someone was sick so we needed to come at noon, which we couldn't do because we had plans and we live an hour away. We ended up having to get our daughter a new phone rather than trying to get this one fixed again because she lives alone in a studio apartment in ******* while going to college and has to commute on the train a half hour a day to get to classes and she can't be without a phone. Cell Choice scammed my daughter out of $195 and I want our money back since they didn't fix the problem and we had to buy a new phone.
