Not a good experience. I use a lot of the other cash back sites regularly ************ Shopping, Rakuten, RetailMeNot and Honey) and have never had any issues. I signed up for CouponCabin recently to test out this service, but it only lasted for a week. They had exclusive offers like spend $75 at ******* and get $75 back. It seems almost too good to be true, so I figured there was a catch or something would happen. Before doing the cash back I read all of the rules and restrictions and followed exactly what they said. I got confirmation after my order that my $75 cash back was on the way. Then, a few days later I tried to login to my account to see if the money was there or pending. I couldn't login on the phone app anymore. It didn't give me any message, but it would go to a blank white screen. So, I tried on my desktop to login and got an error message that my account was suspended because of unnatural activity. I contacted customer support and they said I would need to verify my identity to get my account back. They wanted me to email them a photo (front and back) of my ID. I said I didn't feel comfortable sending that through email, especially since I have never had to provide anything like that on the other cash back sites that I have received payments on. They said that was the only way to get my account back, so I asked them to deactivate it. I knew the offer was too good to be true and something would happen. If this happens to anyone else out there you should not have to email a photo of your ID to an online business. With identity fraud, this is a huge risk and not something that any of the other bigger cash back sites ask for. If they really want to be secure with this info they can set up a screen share call where you hold up your ID and they verify your identity. I have had to do that for **** and ****** to verify ad accounts with them and that is a safe way to make sure your data is not put at risk.
