This company ran my credit and I never heard back from anybody regarding a decision for an auto loan. I called daily, emailed and patiently waited two weeks. So not only was my credit score affected for NO REASON, they never reached back out to me. They are running people's credit score and collecting personal information for no reason at all.Business response

The complaint does not seem to be in alignment with the facts of our investigation. Due to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and our internal established financial privacy provisions, the details of this response will be muted in a public forum. Our investigation shows that an applicant was responded to in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations and standards and that there are several instances in which this applicant denied communications and hung up in our attempts to reach out. If the complaint is due to fraud, we wish to establish contact to resolve the situation more fully. However, this appears to be a situation where the applicant has not responded to our contact attempts and appears to be trying to disparage our institution without merit to the complaint under the ***** Should further details be made available in which we can establish any other outcome, we would be willing to reconsider this situation. Given the facts as they stand today, we are unable to alter the situation with the prescribed remedy.Initial Complaint

On 12/16/21, I made a mortgagepayment (due 1/1/21) to First Financial Credit Union. They have given me multiple accounts (one to hold money they have me earlier as an apology they paid my homeowners insurance late after specifically discussing it with me). I was able to use the money they gave me for their mistake by applying it to my mortgage payment and then paying the remainder from my bank account. Then occasionally other funds appear. Once it was around $35, occasionally more. Maybe it's because I got a homeownersexemption at one point and that's where the funds show up, maybe it's another reason. I don't ask, but each and every time up til 12/16, I used those funds towards my mortgage and paid the remainder from my bank account.Earlier this week, I logged in to pay my **** due 2/1/21, but there was a problem. I had added fees, and the system said I still owed the 1/1/21 ****. Except that money had been taken from my bank account already. FFCU still said they hadn't received it. After many, many calls (the first one telling me I just never paid it, the second one telling me probably my account had nonsufficient funds, both of which were wrong), I found out FFCU claimed my payment hadn't been the full one (no reference to these mystery funds in my "other" account that I had used). But when they "reversed" it, I was not notified, and I didn't receive my money back. Either of those would have prompted me to make the full payment.FFCU claimed the money had been put into a "shared account" but it definitely did not appear when I logged in to pay my mortgage, as the smaller funds had shown up so I could access them. If there is a "shared account" I have never been notified of it or logged in, and this is where FFCU claimed they had put my money they accepted and then refused to apply to my mortgage.... out of room.Business response
