No la recomiendo **** nada **** escuela.. **** empezar los precios son muy altos en segunda la informacin no es la correcta, despus dicen que son cierto nmero de clases y despus empiezan a cancelar hasta la mitad del curso y al final no son las correctas despus segn te mandan un correo electrnico de que la clase se cancel pero media hora despus de que t lla ests ah y luego las clases no duran lo te dicen te cortan hasta una y al final te ofrecen ciertas horas y semanas por la cantidad que pagas y al final es la mitad del tiempo pero el dinero lo quieren antes de que empiecen las clases. En mi opinin y mi forma de ver las cosas no es correcto. Eh incluso cuando le comentas todo estos inconvenientes al servicio al cliente no hacen nada **** solucionarlo muy desecionante.Review from Axel J

I think I got scammed, I ordered "Adult 2 hrs Driving ****** (Nova P/U)" and when I tried setting up the appt on "My schedule" it says that there are no openings available ad to contact the school I already emailed them and no response, I wish I can cancel it but I think it's been 24 hours since I bought it.Nova Driving School Response

One of our supervisors has contacted you and you told him that you are unable to schedule his ****** online. The supervisor explained to you that its the peak season and we have a lot of students scheduling their ******s and its on a first come first served basis. I signed up for driving lessons, and paid $658.80 in December 2020, which I signed up for online, paying the full amount up front. And then, a global pandemic happened. And then, I became very, very ill with a rare neurological disease, Guillain-**** syndrome, and have been hospitalized, paralyzed, for over a year now. I am on disability and public assistance because of my inability to work. I was just released from the hospital, called Nova and requested a refund. They told me my account is "closed" (which is odd because my online account is active) and it was too bad for me. "*****" and the supervisor "******" (they would not give me their full name or exact titles besides supervisor) said that they could not process a refund because their system would not allow it. They said I was informed of their policies when I signed up. I asked for records of that, which he said he couldn't provide (because he is lying). He told me there was nothing they can do. The idea that this company is stealing money from a severely disabled person, who paid up front and never received any services, and now is wheelchair-bound and in desperate need of the refund, shows exactly what this company cares about. The global pandemic happened and almost all businesses and activities came to a halt as early as March of 2020. You signed up during the pandemic on December 02, 2020. You were able to access your account which shows that its active, that is very true since you can access your account online using your username and password. We never mentioned that your account was deactivated or inactive. What we told you is that your credits are expired. You can view your billing statement which serves as your receipt. Once you log in to your account, on the home page, it is clearly stated on the Notifications under Behind-The-Wheel Scheduling that Credit Expired: All class/lesson credit is valid from 9 months from purchase date, and will be expired after the 9 months elapse. We can send you a screenshot. This is the first information that you will see once youre logged in before seeing your billing statement which would require you to click on multiple links.We have a call recording on December 23, 2020 of your conversation with one of our Operators and she mentioned that the credit will be given an extension with a validity of 1 year and that if not used within 1 year it will expire. The Operator also mentioned that the credit can be transferred to another person and you also confirmed understanding. Therefore, you were aware about the terms and conditions.We understand your situation but we have been flexible by extending your credit for 1 year and that we did our due diligence to notify you through multiple follow **** We are not denying any claims on the basis of disability of sickness but rather on the basis of you being well informed of the policies and that you have verbally confirmed understanding of these information.Review from Valerie P

Excellent service. The helped me from the permit preparation through getting my license. Automatically received text notifications for each of my lessons, phone call confirmations and even made the dmv appointment for me. Today hi got license! Nova driving school provided me with several ******s near their Hyde Park location. The actual ******s although informative were not at all up to the caliber I had been expecting. The instructors ranged from informative to very rude and unprofessional. My last instructor on what was the final ****** in the package I had paid for, said I did not have the skills necessary despite several previous ******s and criticized me a lot behind the wheel. Actually taking the exam was an extreme hassle and coordinating with the school to do so was very much difficult. I actually failed the exam that time and rather than fork over more money to Nova driving school, I simply gave up on obtaining my license. I wish I could go about asking for some type of refund or compensation but there is no way to do so on the website despite the less than satisfactory service overall. The whole experience was quite disappointing and disheartening because I really wanted to obtain my license. ******************** is not only not professional but also essentially a scam to take your money and convince you that you should take the test without having an actual curriculum nor verifying all their instructors are good teachers. I feel embarrassed to have spent that money and wasted those ******s and then not even acquired the license.Nova Driving School Response

I booked a package of lessons online for my daughter and uploaded documentation. My account was created, but I was never able to book lessons online because none were available for 4 months out. I tried calling this company 3 times and never got through to anyone. ZERO stars.Nova Driving School Response

We looked into our records and found out that we had contacted several times at the number ending **** and the one ending on **** and left voicemails. To better clarify this, we need to make sure all your teen paperwork is in order so we can send your teen information to the secretary of state with the adequate information. We schedule your lessons once we have all documents. It appears that we are still missing a copy of your 30 hours completion and a copy of your teens permit. The office is a complete disaster. Unorganized and unprofessional to say the least. A total waste of time and $$$.They cancel on me last minute without even notifying me. I had a ****** scheduled at 2-4pm. I did NOT know my ****** was canceled until I showed up at where I was supposed to meet the instructor only to see NO ONE was there. I had to contact my instructor to know that its canceled. And he told hes not available and had asked the office to notify me. Well, guess what, not only was I never contacted by the office, I even got an email at 11am to remind me I have a ****** in less than 3 hours? I then called the office and wait for god knows how long -- no one is even picking up the phone! You gotta be kidding me I work full time and had to move things around for the ******s. They would ask you to give them 24h notice for cancelation or pay a fine, but they would cancel on your last minute without refund or even a slight bit of courtesy to notify you in advance. This is ridiculous. (I understand things happen but can the office at least show some respect for peoples time and money? I have never come across a more unprofessional office in *******.)Also I specifically mentioned Id like to work with the same instructor throughout the ******s when booking the package. The office said sure no problem, and I got a different instructor in EVERY SINGLE ******. This then led to the ******s not properly planned out and I was told to purchase two extra ******s because someone didnt cover enough content in the previous sessions.In general if you have a lot of $$$ and time to waste, welcome to Nova Driving School this is the perfect place for you. My experience was terrible I was told to be at the dmv between 4:30-5:30 am to meet my instructor and make the line 2 hours passed my instructor never showed up or contacted me so I asked another nova instructor(******) I saw there what was going on he asked for proof that I had a ****** then said he would call the instructor and see. An hour later ive completed everything inside the dmv for my road test texted ********* the person I booked my ****** with and paid she never responded so im just at the dmv clueless. I approached ****** again and asked him was he able to contact my instructor he replied he called off so you can get a refund and reschedule or just take the road test but theres no way youll get a ****** today very nonchalantly. So another nova instructor (********)who was near by saw and heard what was going on and pulled me to the side and apologized and said he would see what he could do to accommodate me and luckily he was able to help me. However 2 days later ********* still hasnt replied to my message or tried to reach out and apologize for the inconvenience or anything I definitely wouldnt recommend Nova to anyone.Nova Driving School Response

Took this right before the pandemic hit and was very disappointed as my first driver fell asleep and taught me nothing. Second instructor then chastised me for learning nothing my first ******* Finally took my last instruction course and had a good instructor but she recommended I practice more before my driving test. Then we hit a bad winter so I waited only to be hit with covid. Now they're telling me I can't do my dmv test because my credits expired even though we literally went through a pandemic.Nova Driving School Response

Avoid using Nova at all cost, they are an organized scam. They will book four or more people for the same time slot with the same instructor and vehicle. They will say they offer 2 hours of practice online and in their FAQ page, but then will turn around and say that the lessons are not two hours long in actuality to justify giving you and four or more students 20 minutes of practice each. They also do not follow any sort of mask policy. The instructor was not wearing a mask, nor was he sanitizing the vehicle in between the five student drivers he was alternating. When I asked the instructor if I could drive from the hours I had booked, 4:30-6:30am, he said he had others to instruct as well. He let me drive less than 15 minutes from 4:45-5:00am. He said I needed more practice but should be fine for the test, however, if he could he would get to me for more practice, if not I could attempt the test and if I failed retake the test another time. In other words, he wanted me to fail and have to pay to reuse their vehicle. The office did not respond to my calls or messages until 8am or so, not sure which office it was, seems like they have people in Ecuador and the Philippines according to the Facebook management page. Anyhow, the office then tried to justify not giving me opportunity for practice and the exam by saying I had got behind the wheel for at least some time and that not all practice was two hours. They said they would need to pass me on to a supervisor once I said I would review them and get others to look into the double, even quadruple booking they were doing, and the non mask and sanitizing policy. The supervisor reached out to me to offer me three hours of practice and an opportunity to take the road test, but I no longer trust this company and refused the service. I have found another Driving Instructor and recommend others do as well.
