The cleaners damaged my shirt, and did not tell me that they could not guarantee not cleaning and may damage. They did not try to accommodate me and it was new. I paid $50 for my ********** shirt. I want them to pay for damaging my item. They didnt offering anything not even an apologyBusiness response

On April 26th, 2024 I gave CD ONE PRICE CLEANERS (***** S. Pulaski) an undamaged $400 winter coat. CD ONE PRICE CLEANERS returned my coat literally in shreds. I immediately called them and was told to bring the coat back so *****, the manager could look at it. I brought the coat back, ***** told me he was the owner and he'd need time to check the cameras. A week later ***** calls me, tells me the cameras don't show any damage and for me to come get my coat. I asked ***** for his full name, he refused to tell me and he now says that he's not the owner and he doesn't know who is the owner. Very poor customer service. Zero stars.Business response

On November 13th I dropped 6 items off at CD One. On November 14th I went to pick up my items. When I went through the bag that I was given for my dry-cleaned items, I noticed that ALL of the items that I had dropped off to be cleaned were damaged. The damages were: holes, rips, frays, tears, discoloration, and shrinkage. I informed the cashier that my clothes were irrevocably damaged, and he showed the damage to another employee in the store. The employee informed the cashier that the person who cleaned my clothes is the one who damaged them. They asked if I could come back to the store on 11/15 to speak with the manager. On 11/15 I came into the store to speak with the manager, informed them of what occurred on 11/14, and showed him that my clothes were damaged. The manager told me that he would have to look at the cameras to ensure that I had not brought my clothes into the store damaged. I told the manager that I would not mind waiting. He informed me that it could not be done today. I asked why, and there was no reasoning. He said that he would call the store's owner, I informed him that I would wait. He said he would do it later. I requested a refund for the items that were damaged and he informed me that he could not give me a refund until he spoke with the owner, and looked at the store's cameras. I again asked when that would be completed, and received no answer.Business response

****************** came in with wet clothes in her bag and stated they were in a flood. We stated to her that we do not take in clothes that are wet and she insisted we wash them since they were already wet from the flood. We then stated to ****************** that we would wash them, but would not take responsibility for any damage to items. We proceeded to take in the clothes and washed them as she requested. She was given a refund for the cost of the cleaning, but we cannot pay for any damage as we clearly stated this to her at time of drop off.

I am rejecting this response because:my clothes were not in a flood, and they were not wet. I removed one item that was damp because they stated that they do not clean leather jackets. This can be seen on the camera footage that they stated they would pull. The person that took my clothes did not speak English. Therefore, this was not stated nor was it stated when I came to pick up my items and made a complaint regarding the severe damage my clothes had undergone. Instead I was informed to return because the manager would remedy the situation the next day. Which is contradictory to the businesses response.

Our production manager, *******, who does speak English is who you spoke to and she states the items were clearly wet when you brought them in. I am sorry, but we feel it was communicated, and returning your cleaning costs (which has been) is the best we can do.Customer response

After dropping off my dry cleaning, my wife goes back to pick it up. I am missing a uniform shirt and pants. I call them and they swear they dont have it. The manager asked me to come in and review the camera, which I did. I explained the uniform pants and shirt I dropped off were not with my order that was picked up. After waiting for an excess of 30 minutes, the employees found my uniform pants and told me the shirt is not there and it is not their problem. I want my shirtBusiness response

Took my 7x10 rug to be cleaned and paid $190 up front as that is what was required. They told me it would take 2 weeks which was fine. Upon picking it up I opened the plastic bag they put it in and it was still dirty and dingy and smelled, it looked exactly the same as when I brought it in before cleaning. I spoke with the store manager and she said to leave the rug and they will send it to be cleaned again. Another 2 weeks later I went to pick it up again and this time when I opened the bag some portions looked cleaned and some were still dingy. On top of that, upon further inspection there was still tons of dog hair in the carpet and I even found a few fake eyelashes. The store manager said she could not refund my money due to store policy and that the cleaning is not guaranteed!!!! They did not say that when I dropped off the carpet and paid them $190 only after their incompetent carpet cleaner didnt do their job. She then said its not her fault and she would have the owner of the branch call me. That was over a week ago and Im still waiting for a call. RIDICULOUS!!!! Taking money from people and then not doing the job they were paid to do!! Dont waste your money youre better off renting a carpet cleaner and doing it yourself!!Business response
