Due to the limited number of words, I am looking forward to someone from BBB to contact me so I can give you all the specific dates, times, and details. The company I used is called United Home Services. The address on the invoice (and estimate) is **********************************************************************************. However, I found another address for their local office in the Chicagoland area. It is ****************************************************************. I used their services on 1-8-2024. Their service technician, Shai, came to my house to clean my fire place and chimney. I was on quoted on the phone, by *****, for a total of $125.00. I was charged $371.80 for their service. **** came to my house. He brought his shop vacuum into my house and vacuumed my fireplace for 20 minutes. He did not bring in chimney brushes, he did not brush the chimney, he did not take pictures of the chimney from outside. If he did take pictures, he did not show them to me. United Home Services took advantage of me and ripped me off. They did not provide any kind of service, expect for vacuuming my fireplace. I had another company clean my fireplace/chimney. They used their drone, took pictures and pointed out what needed to be done. They brought brushes and actually did the work. I did contact United Home Services and spoke to *****. He was not helpful at all. He refused to refund my money. Then he implied that I was not being honest with them and because of my gender I am not smart enough to understand the work that is being done. He requested documentation from the new company and stated, "I stand behind the work of my technician."
