    BBB unable to locate business
    Kostos Electric was employed to install 2 thermostats within a residential unit. The electrician, ****** Kostos, arrive on the date coordinated for installation. He was able to install both thermostats, he was paid $280 for his service and he left. Within an hour (time used to set up the thermostats with the smart home network used in the unit) it was noted the thermostats were not installed properly. ****** was notified, and he agreed to return the next day to correct the installation. The next date, ****** arrived as planned. While correcting the installation, he was able to properly install 1 of the thermostats. The other was not properly installed as he shorted the thermostat by leaving the electricity on while trying to connect the device. ****** suggested that I obtain a replacement thermostat, and that upon receiving it he would return to install the device. He offered to pay for the thermostat if it was not replaced. I was able to obtain a replacement thermostat from the manufacturer free of charge. Upon informing ******, we coordinated a new date to complete the work (which ****** selected). Day of the installation, he did not arrive. Upon contacting ******, he states that he thought follow up was scheduled the next week. We then decided upon another date. Day of the next scheduled date for follow up, he sent a picture that his work truck broke down and could not make it. ****** has continually avoided returning to complete the work upon reaching out to him. I have given him understanding of the situation. He is now not responding to my correspondence (all documented within text messages which I can provide for further detail and exact dates).I would like a refund of the amount paid as the service has not been completed and I must now find another electrician to complete the work. Please let me know how best to navigate this scenario. Thank you for your time and attention on the matter.
