    I bought a coat from *** on 5/5/2021, for $485.00 and later, a pair of pants that were $475.00. In addition to having to pay a $75.00 alteration fee. The total value of the package that was supposed to be mailed and delivered to me totaled, $1,035,00.*** offered to mail package on 1/10. I never received the package. On Feb 1, I sent *** a text message asking her when she was going to mail my items. That's when she sent a message back that she had sent them a long time ago and that she will get her assistant to track them. She then sent me a text, that included screen shots of the receipt and the delivery date and time, showing when ***** supposedly delivered the package, Friday, January 14, 2022. I followed up with a message explaining that I DID NOT receive the package, and wanted to know why a signature wasn't required at delivery? She didn't answer the question but sent me a Proof of Delivery form from ****** I called ***** on Feb 1, and spoke with them about what I need to do, in which I was told by ***** that the shipper, not myself, would have to submit a claim to them. *** submitted a claim to *****, and sent me a screenshot of the submitted claim( Tracking Number ************). On Mon., Feb 7, I sent *** a text explaining that I had just got off of the phone with ***** and they told me that they denied the claim due to the shipper not requiring a signature and that ***(the shipper) can open up a claim to dispute the decision to deny the claim. I also advised that I would call the police to file a police report, in which I did. *** never shared the tracking pictures with me, and she never just gave me the "heads up" that she mailed my package, or that my package is on the way, or that she just got a notice that my package had been delivered. I wasn't told or advised anything. I did seek an attorney. This is bad business practice from ***. A package of that value should have required a signature. She should know better and treat customers better.
