I placed on online order on February 13th, 2024 for Vienna Beef hotdogs to be delivered overnight to my son away at college so that he would receive an unexpected Valentines day present of his favorite ******* food. I paid $82 dollars for the overnight shipping and he received the hotdogs 2 days later, on 2/15/24. I contacted them to refund me the overnight shipping cost only (not the cost of the hotdogs) and they told me that no orders placed online ever get shipped that same day and that furthermore I saw on the calendar that they provided with the delivery date, that 2/14/24 was not available for delivery. I told them that there wasn't that I saw that deliveries aren't shipped same day, nor was there a calendar that I was supposed to enter a delivery date. I explained to ******, the customer service agent I spoke to, that what she was telling me didn't even make any sense. Overnight delivery means overnight, next day, there is no need for a calendar with available dates to click on for supposedly overnight and that even if there was, there wasn't any said calendar! I even told her that perhaps the confusion is that I paid for the order with Amazon Pay, which was on option for payment on their website! I chose Amazon pay specifically because Amazon already has my credit card information, my billing address and my son's address since it's different from mine. I told her clearly that no calendar, delivery date or provision that orders do not grout same ay was provided, nothing of the sort. I am writing to BBB to get fun refund of the expensive overnight shipping cost since clearly they did not ship overnight and ruined my surprise Valentines gift all together.
