December 2020, I was approved to receive a free boiler from the Chicagos Emergency Heating Program. It was installed by Cordos Construction in March 2021. On Dec 8, 2021, I realized there was a problem with the system (it would not heat up). I searched for the warranty information but could not find it. I didn't know exactly what the problem was, so I called Four seasons. A tech came the next day, I told him the problem, upon inspection he informed me the fan center relay needs to be replayed (the cost he quoted is approx. $1,000). The options he suggested was to call the company that installed the boiler and get the warranty information or pay for the part myself and ask for reimbursement. I have called the company several times that did the installation and basically getting the run around. On Dec. 13, 2021, I spoke with a rep. ***** from the company. He tells me that because I called another company first that I forfeited from warranty, I explained that I do not have warranty information, therefore called Four Seasons. He then tells me that he will email the warranty information but as of today (12-18-2021) I still have not received.it. Last year while waiting for the city to install the boiler, I spent 2 months in a hotel and don't want a repeat! It's been LESS THAN A YEAR SINCE THE BOILER WAS INSTALLED! The company that installed the boiler is REFUSING to give me the information or come out to inspect boiler. I had to look-up on the internet for manufacture information. What do I need to do the get the boiler fixed??
