I went to ****'s Foods at 7:45 pm on 8-18-23, I went to ****'s at **** *********** in ******* to buy a few items. One item was Boneless ***** Roast advertised in the weekly ad delivered to my home for $2.99 per lb. There were none in the meat case, so I went to the Butcher. He sent me to another meat case and none there. I go back to the butcher but he is now busy helping others. I go up front to ask the front-end young ******** girl who is by the self-check out registers. She tells me "To be honest, I know nothing about this". I said, may you ask? And then a bigger ******** girl who worked for Tonys says I will take care of this. She took the ad out of my hand and then told me to stay where I am at. After 15 minutes I go back to the meat department and the girl who took my ad and said she would help me was nowhere to be found. The manager was there. I told him what had happened and he did not say anything. I said I just wanted the boneless ***** roast that was in the ad for $2.99. He looked at me like I was crazy. I then proceeded to pull up the online ad because the other employee took my ad. Only the online ad says $3.99 per pound. The manager told me the sale is only for the suburbs. Then WHY was the ad that says $2.99 delivered to my house 8 blocks away. And he told me because I live in the city I could not have it for $2.99 per lb.. Why would suburban ads be delivered to me when I live 8 blocks from ****'s? And NO ONE in that store could tell me what happened. No one could communicate clearly but they do know how to gas light, Very mad that this store is doing a bait and switch. I left my groceries there and left. How is Bait and switch legal in Tonys?Initial Complaint
