Ive had the **** *** hearing aids since October of this year (2024). They have been really great. *** worked loud industry for years as a welder and Sheetmetal journeyman and have also driven tankers for a living. All of these jobs tend to be rough on my ears and hearing loss has been one of the negatives. But since I found MD HEARING, my ability to hear conversations and everyday sounds has really improved. It took a few weeks to get used to hearing the way I really should and not compare what I was hearing with the aids to my loss of hearing. But since Ive gotten used to hearing again, its been wonderful. The customer service has been fantastic. From basic support issues to speaking with ***************** one of their audiologists, the customer service has gone above and beyond my expectations. All-in-all I would and have recommended MD Hearing to anyone who was looking into hearing better due to hearing loss. And MD Hearings price points are fantastic also. I didnt have to break the bank to own professional grade hearing aids. Yup. I really really like em !!!Review from Sandy J

I bought the neo xs hearing aid. It did not perform as expected. I got terrible feedback in my ears . Sounds were distorted . I felt this was not a hearing aid but just an amplifier . I wanted to return the hearing aids within the 45 day trial period . The first person named ****** was very rude and not much help . The second agent was better but told me I have to pay for the cost of shipping back plus insurance . No where in their information booklet does this company state this. Her answer said the booklet doesnt say either way about rules of shipping this item back . This is not a reputable company and urge folks not to use them .Review from Michele J

*** had Volt hearing aids and they work great when they are charged. Ive had no problems with customer service in the beginning but now you cant get anyone. Ive tried to get customer service everyday for 2 weeks and yet to get a call back. I wrote to their chat line and received a lame answer from their audiologist that they have been slammed with calls. Anyway, dont waste your time with them and find another company.Review from James S

My current hearing aids perform better than the MD hearing aids. I returned the MD aids to them.Review from Trina J

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU DONT ACTUALLY WANT THEIR "No Questions Asked" 45 DAY RETURN GAURANTEE.I have been attempting to get an RMA for the hearing aids that I purchased for my Dad. He refuses to try them, so I wanted a refund. They are unopened.I have attempted contacting the MD HEARING company twice now. On the 28th of Dec I opted to be called back. But the call back went straight to voice-mail. I am aware of this tactic and was very unhappy. I made a second attempt today ****. This time I stayed on hold waiting to be helped. After exactly 2 minutes I was told there were no agents available and you hung up. Tried again later... same result. Again, very deceptive practice as time is running out on my 45 day return window.Review from Clifford K

Received my hearing aids, but one of the accessories carried what very clearly looked like a smudge of ear wax. They agreed to send new accessories. Then I had to call because I couldn't program the hearing aids properly. Called three times on 1/8/24, each time reached a recording that said all representatives were busy and to call back later. Called twice on 1/9/24. First call, sat on hold for 15 minutes. Then someone picked up and hung up. Called back, sat on hold for another ten minutes, finally gave up. Did a live chat with a representative. She said my hearing aids were probably defective, and offered to send me a replacement pair in "four to six business days." I asked that they be expedited, and she said only if I pay the expedited shipping charge. I then questioned their customer service practices, and she accused me of having "beaten and badgered for every possible freebie you can get" (simply because I didn't want to deal with someone else's ear wax. I felt very unappreciated, totally unvalued as a customer. If for simply the horrendous customer service at this company. I recommend other avoid mdhearing.com!Review from Linda F

The ability to turn on and off the aides with the blue light fast vs slow is the most fantastic helpful and beneficial aspect of any hearing aide I have tried. Congratulations on the very idea. Unbelievably great. You need to advertise that facet of your aides. I did get some attention telling another big company they needed to learn from you guys and your blue light. ;) Your domes 'melt' with the warmth of the ear over a very few hours. That causes the aide to lose contact and decreased function and they may even fall out. In addition, the aides are large. I am six feet and I have small ears but gees guys...not that small. I even rubbed a blister in my right ear just due to the fact it was too large. When the domes melt in the heat of the ear, even in my ear, they slip around. Change your domes. Nano has good one but so do other companies. It is a real issue for me with an aide large enough to blister my ear fall out six hours later. Not nice. Of everything about your aides the outside of the ear on/off is fabulous. The other thing is make them so when you turn them off, the next time you turn them on the setting is rearranged to be what it was the last time you turned them off. No more fiddling with them is best. I know it is possible as another two companies do that. The more set once, leave alone and wear....turn off and put in set the same way as when you took them out.....the happier we are! The largeness of the aide is not good for me and why I went elsewhere. But yours are my favorites except for the largeness and floppy domes. Your blue on and off is brilliant...Brilliant...The more we can do before putting it in the ear, the better and the less wear and tear on our ears. Do more with different color lights such as for the programs maybe in yellow. Don't use red or green as they have universal meaning recognition. Go for it. You've got something good. Be the colorful hearing aide and market it.Review from Dennis M

I purchased hearing aids that had a one year warranty. After eight months the aid failed to work. The company said too bad. They claimed it was not a manufacturers defect because it was not there from the start. That makes no sense. If I buy a car, tv, frig, and so on with a one year warranty, the item is covered for one year, no matter when the problem surfaces.MDHearing Response

Our manufacturer warranty states* Your hearing aid(s) is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the time you receive your order. If at our examination it is determined that the unit failed to work due to its parts, materials, or workmanship, we will repair or replace it for free.
This warranty does not cover malfunctions due to unusual wear and tear or mistreatment of the hearing aid, such as physical shock, excessive wax build-up, lack of proper maintenance, or tampering with the instrument, all of which void the warranty. If you require warranty service, please contact customer service. For 100% coverage of your hearing aid against any damage or malfunction, you may consider adding our protection plan.
If you purchase a car like your example above, and fail to change the oil, if your engine failed, that will void your warranty on the engine. In the eight months you had your hearing aids, they were not serviced, we show no parts ordered and therefore are unable to honor a manufactuer warranty.
