In November of 2021, I purchased a new furnace from Deljo. It was installed in December of 2021. Part of this purchase was an extended 10-year labor warranty. The additional price for coverage this was $578.00.According to Deljo, this extended warranty is provided by a third party, Climate Shield, from whom Deljo purchases the coverage. This was not made clear to me until after the purchase was made and the furnace installed.I have received notifications of coverage from Climate Shield but the policy provided by them has only a 3 year term, not 10 years as purchased. I have contacted a number of people at Deljo - ***** (1/18/2022), **** (2/9/2022), **** (2/9/2022 and 3/15/2022) - asking for assistance in resolving this situation. While all have promised to help me, none have actually done so. To date and to the best of my knowledge, I am still only covered by a 3 year warranty. I definitely have not been provided with any Climate Shield notification or paperwork indicating a 10 year period of coverage.Further, while I understand that this warranty does have specific terms and conditions that I am obligated to meet in order to file a claim, these have not been provided for my specific coverage. Again, I have requested these from Deljo, have been told that they would be provided but these promises have not been fulfilled.
