I hired ********************* as a Contractor to renovate, provide a facelift and modernize my home in late October, 2021; I was supposed to pay him $15,000 for completing a facelift for all 3 floors of my home. When Esco wrote the invoice I communicated initially that the details for all the repairs, electrical, fireplace and modernization werent listed. He verbally stated no problem, that he knew all the multiple tasks he had to complete, In addition, I changed the payment arrangement from his request for $7500.00 to begin. I hired him to drywall the first floor all rooms, the basement, stairwell walls, 2nd floor hallway and bathroom. Additionally, add drop ceiling with canned lights in basement. replace shutter on exterior 2nd floor window, replace lights in 2nd floor bathroom ceiling and in kitchen ceiling, replace and repair chimney, make sure electricity works in garage and replace electrical box labeling the breakers and of course to paint and add borders, crown molding. Unfortunately, Esco didnt deliver the results I hired him to complete. The workers he hired left daily messes and destroyed property; my microwave was broken the alarm was broken, and my Jacuzzi tub was a challenge to get clean and paint was dropped everywhere throughout the house. The painting is horrible I will have to rehire workers to redo as well as drywall He did not do the work he described that he could do; I had to demand he complete the drop ceiling twice, I have pictures of the entire messy work process and the final results. Totally unacceptable for my standards. Im requesting help with this situation because I was told that the materials he used for the electrical work outside shouldnt have been used; not for ******* weather. He didnt keep his schedule; late by multiple weeks. I believe he used day workers from outside *********** I found out he was rarely on site. My house is a disaster, the materials he used were the cheapest as well as the workers.
