    I provided February 15, 2022, a deposit in the amount of $1894.50 for 3-closet installation on May 23, 2022. The company postponed the installation until June 1, 2022. The installers failed on June 1st to adhere to the interior closet design on the signed. I immediately halted the installation to clarify the miscommunication. The designer and the owner both visited and understood my concerns; however, the designer offered to implement changes with an additional charge of over $900.My closets weren't installed to specifications nor directives;In one closet the hanging rod is 6 feet high and the door won't close with a missing hanging rod and less usable space;The bedroom closet is incomplete and all items have been removed now going on 2 months;The front closet was installed incorrectly and more usable space prior to the installation.Modifications were made but the signature wasn't my handwriting therefore forged. My suggestion for resolution was to finish the larger closet and remove the installation from the other two and settle for the deposit amount. The owner believes he's doing me a favor but having my deposit since February and unable to provide the work contracted to do is an issue. Hopefully, you can assist.

    After waiting 4 months for a closet installationfrom Closets by design, I finallygot the install day on Nov 19th. The installerarrives around 10am to install the 4 closets that were designed/measured by one of the companies designers. The closets that I chose were all shelves and no additional accessories. The installer disassembles the old hardware in the closets and informs me that the shelves have not been cut for my closets and he would have to go back to the warehouse...cut them and then return in an hourand a half. I say no problem whatever it takes to get this done. He leaves and then calls me and informs me that he has a saw on his truck and can cut the items at my place if i have an outlet and a place to do it. I tell him that I do , he can cut them on my deck , there is an outlet there. He says ok and instead of coming back to do that he drives off and doesntinform me that he is leaving after he asked me about cutting the shelves at my place. He left around noon and returned 2 and 1/2 hours later and says that I am sorry it took so long ,but everyone was on lunch. He added that he picked a bad time to leave. He starts to work on the closets finally close to 3pm. about 4:15pm he informs me that he cannot finish the closets today! He continue to say I to come back because the measurements didnt accommodate the light in your pantry and the wood was not measured for in the pantry. He also said that he made a mistake on the measurements for the hallway basement closet. I asked him what could he finish and he said he would finish the upstairs and master bathroom closets today. So after hearing this news I was very upset and I called the Closets by Design office. I received a call back from ******* who is the franchiseowner and I express how angry I am that not only am I not getting the job completed but 8 hours from my day was wasted on this project. This is unacceptable. He tells me that he cannot get the wood cut his shop is closed. He didntoffer to do it on Saturday (which was the next day) and told me he would schedule something when I got back from my Thanksgiving vacation which provided him with an additional week to get this problem correct with the wood and measurements. He said he was sorry like it was no big deal or inconviencewhile the contents of 4 closets are on the floor in my home, no where to place these items and I have company coming to town for the thanksgiving holiday. I lost it as I expected that he would do more for me as I am very inconvienced. He just paused after I the reschedule was done and I said...Is this it? He said well what do you want some money off? This made me really mad...I said , what do you normally do for customers that are this unhappy? I am totally inconvienced! He said he has never had this happen before and offered me some additional accessories for one of my closets. It was no cold no sincerity at all. We ended the call and he called me back to discuss these accessories (which I chose a shelf to store canned goods to add to my pantry) and said to me I am sorry if I didntsound like i was really sorry before it has been a long day...I said long day I have been here with your installer waiting for four closets to be installed. After getting off the phone with ******* the installer was packing up this things and I asked him if he finished the master bathroom closet and he informed me that he also cut that wood incorrectly and was not going to be completing it in addition to the other two incomplete closets. I then called *********************** and he offered no solution and just vented about the installer but committed to the 29th to install the closets and that he would include the canned good shelf for my pantry for my troubles. Which I agreed to at that time. So my follow up appointment was scheduled or I thought it was with the manager ******* over the phone to come back and finally install my closets on the 29th of Nov. I didntget a confimation call like I did the first time and no call the morning of the rescheduled day. So about 8:45am I called and ******* answered the phone. Long story short he didn't have the wood cut for my cabinets and was not scheduled to come to my place. He then , after 3 other measurmentsdecided to send out another installer to my place to measure yet again. Including the original measurement this was the 4th measurement. He then said he would make sure that canned goods shelf arrived and would be refunding me some money after this additional issue happen. He told me he could do the install on the 30th and the installer also committed to a 9am arrival. On the 30th everything finally happen that was scheduled except the specialcanned goods shelf for my pantry that the manager promised never showed up, I never got a call from him to confirm to ask if I was satisfied, and of course there has been no compensation at all for all he promised. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Service is awful and this manager who is the owner of this franchisedoesn't care about his customers or his word.
