I received a call from Vortex IT Solutions - indicating that I have a service that they were going to charge my credit card to unless I logged into my computer to cancel this order $199.99. They refused to cancel this $199.99 charge unless I logged in my computer - I googled the company and they had a different number I called that number and it routed me to the first number that I called - they appear to be a scam operationInitial Complaint

*Date of the transaction was July 9th, 2019.*The amount ***** paid the company was $449.99.****** has no memory of what he paid them for...he thinks it might have been for computer security; ***** was 89 years old at the time of this "purchase".*A man named **** left two messages for *****:**he left a voice message on Friday July 8th, 2022 telling ***** he had 45 minutes to get back to him about a securities charge that was going to be levied against him to renew the security. We did not respond to that message.**He called again today, July 11, 2022 to telling him "Your account is going to be charged for the amount of $3,999.99 for the renewal of the securities you had purchased from our company to secure your ??book...."***** had me call this man back to see what kind of scam it was. It turns out that Al did make a purchase of something from this company July 9th 2019. I told the man that Al wants nothing to do with the company and wants to cancel whatever it was he purchase. **** told me he could not cancel without talking to *****; I asked him what information ***** would need to provide to him to cancel and he said ***** would need to be on his computer while he did it. This is a TOTAL RED FLAG. My name is *****, I'm Al's friend of 26 years, his POA, and live-in care giver. I can give you my last name when you contact me for further information.Initial Complaint

I paid this company to do a website for my business. They quoted me a price and paid that before starting the website. After starting the website they asked for more money. I felt I had no choice but to pay since I already paid so much. They took longer than they stated to finish. Now that its done I have concerns and questions and no one has returned my calls, texts, and emails.
