ZERO stars. I am a licensed professional counselor. This company promised they had reissued payment (on checks that were un-cashed because not received the first time) on 8 claims from Nov to Dec 2023 recently. Never arrived a 2nd time either. Cannot be reached by phone or email. Their phone system is set up very deceivingly and it is extremely hard to get in touch with a live person. Two employees were disrespectful, purposefully asking "relentless" and "arbitrary" questions that were unnecessary to do the task that I asked for when I called. The person had sufficient information to do the job yet kept asking question after question in an attempt to frustrate me in order to try to get me to hang up. When they saw they were not successful, they then just put me on mute and never came back to the call. You could tell it was purposeful¬ that they were asking someone for assistance in a matter they did not understand.This company owes me $1600 & I will take further action if required.My client should not have to pay this large balance when she has valid insurance for a reason. One company (this one) "supposedly "processes" claims while another company actually makes payment to you for the claims (Zelis). Never worked with a more difficult, unprofessional insurance company in 18.5 years of practice. They seem very interested in keeping funds that are owed to providers & paid for by their members to themselves (greedy).They owe me months and months of interest. There are laws in place to protect people in this situation and if this situation is not prompted handled, I will take action. It took WEEKS to hear back each of the 2x I heard from someone at Allied as well as Zelis. Highly disorganized & each company blames the other for information that they pretend not to have (selectively aloof)&tell you to go chase the other company around = WILD GOOSE CHASE. Does not care about their members or providers. Shocker: In it for themselves alone. Do not choose this insurance company!!!!Review from Shelon D

I am writing to address a matter of significant concern pertaining to medical service charges that have been deducted from my paycheck without my explicit consent or knowledge. Upon reviewing my financial records, I discovered that I have been subject to direct debit withdrawals for medical services, which were purportedly initiated over two years ago. I would like to clarify that I did not enroll in nor authorize any such medical coverage, and I have not provided any signed documentation accepting these services. During a conversation with our accounting representative, I was informed that my manager purportedly signed me up for the medical coverage, and subsequent payroll deductions were executed without any accompanying signed documentation. However, I firmly assert that this information is inaccurate and unfounded.Despite seeking clarification on the individuals responsible for enrolling me in the medical coverage and initiating payroll deductions, the representative was unable to provide conclusive evidence. This lack of transparency and documented proof raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of these transactions. Additionally, I received an email instructing me to fill out a termination form for the aforementioned medical service. To my surprise, I was terminated without submitting any such form. This further underscores the inconsistency and lack of due process in the handling of these matters. I am puzzled by the ability of the company to add and remove services without obtaining proper consent or maintaining documented proof of acceptance. This situation has had a profound impact on my personal circumstances, as I have lost my ******** coverage that I had held for over five years due to these unauthorized deductions. I wish I could give 0 stars. My employer made the mistake of using these people. They were supposed to add my wife and they did on the Allied side but then the never sent the information on to ***** and Aetna to actually add her to the policies and now we're out of open enrollment and they won't add her. If there was a 0 star option I would use it. This "insurance" company is the worst I've ever dealt with. They are a total scam. Their customer service model is to pretend they can't hear you and drop calls. Another good one is the static on the line trick, then you get transferred at which point the call drops. The audio "issues" and dropped calls are far beyond coincidence. I've had ****** *********** etc in the past and have never experienced anything like this. This is customer service behavior you see in ****** where I used to live, but never here in **********. This company is actively engaged in fraud. Avoid at all costs.Review from Stephanie H

I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. No matter how nice their reps ****** they never have an answer for you. They will ask you a million questions, pretending like its going to get you somewhere but it never does. They will transfer you to 5 different reps and the line will conveniently drop during that process and youll need to start from the beginning again. Also, their plans exclude all basic help for people with special needs. This company should be ashamed.Review from Michelle M

I work for a medical provider's office and need to call on occasion to work through more difficult claim questions. I have called this company a handful of times and have been hung up on 7 times, told that "the system is updating so call back in an hour" 5 times, and only once spoken to a person who even tried to help me. Even then they told me that my provider was not in network with Cigna Local Plus, and when I told them I had their credentialing information in my hand, which was fully current, they told me they needed to transfer me to a supervisor. The phone proceeded to ring for about 10 seconds before the call dropped.Absolute joke of an insurance carrier, 8 in 10 chance they'll be on the news for fraud within the next 6 months.Review from Caroiine C

If you can get your employer not to use this company do it. Called before getting testing done, was assured that it would be 90% covered. Was even given a reference number and told that the call was recorded so there definitely would be no problems having it covered. When the claim was submitted, 0% was covered. There reasoning was that that type of service was not covered and they gave me a reason code. Looked up the actual reason code in their manual. There manual indicated the test was covered. Resubmitted claim for review, they actually only covered about 10% because they misread the claim, resubmitted, this has been going on for months. I think they just try to wear people out so they give up and don't have to pay out on claims. Their customer service reps are very nice as they tell you they don't really get why they put the explanations they did on your forms though.Review from Mark M

Terrible Insurance...I paid out over 8k in premiums, they covered less than $350 of a $600 bill. Was the first time I used it since I got it, now I can't cancel for 6 more months and I have to pay the balance of the $600. Who Made out... NOT ME!! SCAM INSURANCE...Review from John S

Worst Ever RUN!! Too many dba's ALLY- FEDERAL LIFE-MULTI PLAN- ABA - NCE -GAP AFFORD- NO Dr's. In our area. 1 Closest is over 60 miles away and that office has never been apart of this group! No perceptions after we were told they would be covered 100%. Over 1 week calling and sending multiple email messages (no response) No Help Then when we do get ahold of them by calling from a different phone number... NO Help! RUDE! PUT ON HOLD MULTIPLE TIMES. while on hold a notification from our bank another pending charge from them STOLEN OVER $700.00 !!! NO HELP!
