      I have a few policies with Combined Insurance. One, in particular, is in question about disability coverage for accidents or sickness. I do not have a copy of this policy except a cover sheet explaining coverage. On my copy that I downloaded (when the portal worked) it listed sickness and accident. I downloaded this May 2022, so it is very recent. I sent in all required paperwork. The company is telling me I do not have sickness coverage only accidents. I contacted the insurance commission about this situation. The representative requested to send me a copy of the policy. Combined only sent cover sheet that only listed accident coverage. it was a completely different cover sheet that I downloaded. I brought this to the attention to the insurance commission by sending him copies of both. He informed me he was going to get an explanation of the difference in cover sheets with policy numbers and monthly charges were the same. Needless to say, I never heard from him again. I have been trying to open my portal for 3 months but every time it states no information found. I tried with another email and it states the email isn't found. I feel they have blocked me, so I can't get a copy of my policy to read it myself. I have another disability policy for accidents, so why would I need two? I feel they just don't want to pay.

      Dealing with this company has been very overwhelming to say the least. I filed a critical care claim due to a recent cancer diagnosis in April. At that time I was given a claim number to use when filing documents. On July 1st, I correctly submitted all of the required documents that was needed to process the claim. According to the documents given to me by my employer, the claims process is within 10 days. Ive spoken to several customer service agents, my case manager (twice) and two supervisors who all informed me that my claim was approved on July 11th and was not processed electronically as I requested. Instead a check had been mailed. I have yet to receive any form of payment to date. The last gentleman, also expressed this was no fault of my own but the company. This diagnosis has been expensive. I have spent all of my savings and bills continue to come in daily. I purchased this policy to protect myself from being in this situation. This company has not made good on any of this product.
