I am highly disappointed with the lack of professionalism and efficiency displayed by ******'s Life when it comes to reimbursing my mother for her long-term care at an assisted living facility. Despite my mother paying into her policy for over 15 years, we have consistently struggled to receive timely reimbursements. It is unacceptable that we must constantly follow up and provide proof of residency multiple times, only to be met with delays and excuses from Banker's Life. This has caused unnecessary stress and financial strain on my family when my mother needs the most funds. I will not hesitate to warn others about the poor service and communication from ******'s Life, and I urge anyone considering their services to proceed with caution.Bankers Life Response

Talked into a supplement policy asked to have it canceled the agent did not cancel after she says she did. No one will answer the phone at the local office not return my calls. Did not have a policy number but the main customer service finally canceled the policy after I was told by the agent it was. Now I have to wait over 30 days for my refund after waiting 30 days to get it after the agent told me it was canceled. Not very happy with this at all.Bankers Life Response

My family members and I received great services from Banker's Life Company, and I would recommend this company to anyone. The agent was very knowledgeable, and patient, and looked out for your best interest. I have had no problems getting help when I need it. I would give this company zero stars if that was an option. I have been working with them for the past 5 months to collect my ******** ************** Insurance payments but they continue to reject them for Frivolous reasons. The main reason is they claim the signature from the Brookdale assisted living facility is copied when its clearly not. When I asked who was making that determination the customer service rep told me it was scanning technology that obviously does not work. When I asked to escalate the issue to a manager they told me there was no manager on duty (In a call center ???) and I would get a call back in 2 days and still haven't heard from them. Brookdale in ****** Fl is going to report them to the ******* Insurance commission for flagrant rejection of valid claims. I would like to go to the news and have them do an expose on this company. My advice is save yourself the heartburn and never do business with this company! They are completely unethical!Bankers Life Response

Duped, Unethical business practices. My husband took out a policy in 1990 as a supplemental rider for additional money if he was killed on the job. The policy expired when he turned 65. Bankers didn't notify him and his 'representative' would not return phone calls. My husband started to be aware that the policy had quadrupled the past 2 years since he just pays whatever bills arrive in the mail. He is 67 now. That's $2,400!!! The ethical thing would be to notify him of the increased premium and not charge him for an expired policy. $2,400! They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of a retiree on Social Security.Bankers Life Response

Nothing but trouble! My 101 year old mother has Bankers Life long term care insurance. Her claim was approved 2 months ago but they are not providing benefits. She has to take out loans from the bank to pay for care that Bankers Life should pay for. Bankers Life is unreachable by mail or fax. We have had to submit information multiple times before they admit they received it. The phone number for help always gets some clerk in ***** who doesn't know anything and refuses to provide any other contact. They continually deny receiving faxes from us, her medical team, or her care agency.Bankers Life Response

*********************** from ************* ** came on my property ignored a no soliciting sign and then stayed on my property in her car. I informed her I was not interested but she insisted that my husband (who lives in a nursing home) sent her. I told her to get off my property and she responded that I should have an awful day because I was not nice to her. I want nothing to do with bankers life.Bankers Life Response

I got an annuity with Bankers, intending to keep it for the long ********* circumstances changed that. When I requested ( rep from investment company ), to surrender and move, they were difficult, slow, and poor to communicate. Would not speak in person to rep., took 3 letters and 3 months still waiting for release of MY funds!!Bankers Life Response
