      I am writing to formally file a complaint against your company regarding the extremely poor handling of my reimbursement request for a rental car, as well as the lack of proper customer service provided to address this issue in a timely manner.On 4/29/24, I submitted the required documents, including a policy report and a copy of my rental car receipt, to the email address provided by one of your representatives. Following this, I received an email confirmation on 5/1/24, stating that my request was being processed. However, as of today's date, 6/29/24, I have yet to receive my reimbursement.Upon following up with your company, I was given conflicting information by different representatives. The first agent claimed no notes of reimbursement were found in my file, while the second representative admitted that the reimbursement was mistakenly sent to the wrong company, resulting in further delay. I was informed that I would have to wait an additional 30 days for the correct process to take place, despite already waiting for 60 days.Furthermore, when I requested for the process to be expedited due to the inconvenience and urgent financial needs, I was informed that this was not possible. Additionally, when I tried to cancel my policy on 6/30/24 and requested an expedited processing of the cancellation due to the circumstances, I was told that it would still take 30 days for the request to be completed.The lack of efficiency, accountability, and poor customer service demonstrated by your representatives has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I demand immediate action to rectify this situation, expedite both my reimbursement and policy cancellation, and provide compensation for the inconvenience caused.Failure to address this issue promptly and appropriately will force me to escalate this matter through legal avenues and regulatory bodies.

      She was also advised that we would follow up on her rental reimbursement claim from her last term.

      I ************************* was Do a refund on my car insurance account. I did a cancellation and was told I would have my refund within a month which was SEPTEMBER this month. I call today and now they are telling me another month which is October. I just want my refund that I am intitle to. So if you could please help resolve this issue please.

      Someone insured by this company hit my car and they are not returning emails/calls from me or my lawyer its truly sad. I was at a red light and got hit Im without a vehicle Im still paying for because this insurance provider is not doing their part. This accident was not my fault why insure someone if you wont pay for the damages? It shouldnt be this hard to reach an adjuster or manager this is scary for anyone insured by them or seeing any of their drivers on the road. Its been over two months and no answer and its beyond the determination date I just want answers and my car fixed.

      On 05/13/22 I was in the house where I live **** w. 71st a neighbor rung my doorbell and said someone hit your truck but kept going so I called greatnorthern and filed a claim someone a lady from lighthouse phoned me and asked did i get a licensed plate number I told her no cause I was in the house didn't see nor hear nothing til ******* *** the lady next door came and told me so said they could do nothing without a plate number I told her how can I get that and was in the house so tue lady ******* went to check her doorbell camera and didn't see nothing but I was told the other neighbor ****** may have caught it so I left a note and she called me and told me to give her a couple days and she sent them video to my phone I still have the video where you can see my the truck parked and the accident but you can't see the plate number and I also told the lady that I had this video showing the accident and she said that want help cause how she know they has insurance on thier van and before I got liability plus they said this will protect you if someone hit you and don't have insurance I got my police report I called them that same day about a few minutes afterward

      We are an Insurance Agency - only the Insurance Company can settle claims.   ******************* denied this claim because under the terms and conditions of Uninsured Motorist Property Damage coverage, a hit and run is covered only if the driver or the vehicle is  identified.   A copy of the denial letter, citing the terms and conditions, is attached.

      On 8/31/22, I contacted Great Northern Insurance Company to get a premium to add Homeowner's Insurance for my condo and bundle it with an existing Auto policy that I got binded on 8/17/22 effective for 8/24/22. They informed me someone will contact me but never did. I called again on 9/1/22 to inquire again about the Home Insurance and after being transferred twice, the representative said they would call me back. By the end of the business day, I did not receive a call back and decided to call and cancel my existing Auto policy. The customer service was really bad and the representatives were not attentive. On 9/1/22, after a lot of back and forth with the reps I signed my cancellation request effective 8/24/22 and on 9/2/22 sent them proof that I had Insurance coverage eff. 8/24/22 so that I can receive my full $230 premium refunded back to my initial form of payment. On 9/6/22 I received an email with an insurance card and invoice for $230 from Great Northern. I immediately gave them a call, because the policy was supposed to be cancelled last week. The representatives were rude, they lied to me about who would refund me my money and told me it will take 30 days to get my money back. As a former Underwriter Assistant, I knew this information was false and even told them this over the phone. It does not take 30 days for them to refund me the premium, they just refuse to do it. The attachments are proof of the cancellation and new insurance. I would like my $230 refunded before 30 days if possible.

      I submitted this reply on 9/13 and received an acknowledgement email from you.   Here is the reply I sent

       

      **************** is asking for a refund of her full deposit.   This refund was put on her credit card today.   


      We tried calling her back twice on 8/31 and received no answer either time.   We called her twice on 9/1 and received no answer,  then one of our agents finally did get thru to her and a cancellation request form was sent to her for signature.   On 9/6, she sent us the proof of replacement which the Company required in order to go back and cancel effective 8/24.   We sent this to the Company on 9/6 and as of today, the cancel had not yet been processed.   We cannot refund until the Company sends us a cancel so we contacted the Company and asked them to rush as a consideration and they agreed,  which is why we were able to process the refund today.


      I do apologize if **************** felt she was not treated well, but we did try to return her calls as stated above.
