This company promised a loan. They deposited fictions checks into my bank account and had me send the money back to them to make sure my account was active. I did this only to find out after my venmo account was frozen with funds due to the amount of ******. My bank did not honor their fake checks. The company has since blocked my telephone number.Initial Complaint

I was online looking for a loan and I filled out numerous applications . I received about 4-8 emails from one of the lenders qualifying me for $7500. And I had a lot of missed phone calls from different places. So one Thursday afternoon I answered one of the calls I had missed a few calls from. The gentleman Who called me was ******* and he went out he told me that the loan was for $7500 I asked him the terms and conditions were on the loan and he told me amount would be $7500 at $109 per month at 8.9% and so I agreed he gave me loan confirmation number BLF0710701779 he then told me that his loan supervisor was going to be contacting me within an hour, gave me the phone number ************** and told me if I hadnt heard from him within an hour to call and to ask for the loan officer named ***. *** called me back and they proceeded to run the loan after about 45mins *** got on the line and told me that because of my credit score being so low that the loan was requesting that I pay one of my monthly payments prior to the loan being released so I needed to send them $109. I told him that I wasnt going to be able to come up With it the next morning. I didnt wake up early on Friday so about 3:30 pm in the afternoon I called them. I told them I still needed to get the money so at that time I hung up with them and called my aunt who then gave me the $110. I went to the store and loaded the Money on my card and called them back. At that point *** told me I had to purchase a game stop card to pay the $110 so I took the money back off my card and bought the game stop card. He then ran the loan again and came back on the line and said it wouldnt release until we boosted my credit and I needed to send $215 to do that ( all $$ will be refunded with the loan). I sent $250 next day(today) and an hour later was told it wouldnt work , the money I sent was too much to send $215. When I sent $215 he then said IRS put hold on it need to pay $450. They wont release any of itInitial Complaint

I used BlueLeaf Lender as my mortgage broker for my first condominium purchase. The condo is a new-construction project. I was given the opportunity to lock in a rate of 4% with ***** Fargo a few months ago, March 24, 2022, for a fee of $2664.51. My closing date was scheduled to be the between May 25-June 1, 2022. On May 23rd, I get a call from my loan officer ***************************** telling me ***** Fargo backed out of my loan because of the verbiage in my condo's *** documentation (it mentioned membership fees are required for the *** to access the clubhouse, however the clubhouse is NOT owned by the ***). That meant I was without a loan with only 4 days until my scheduled closing date. Fast forward 4 days to May 27, 2022, and BlueLeaf was able to secure a mortgage loan with Truist. However, this loan had a rate of *****%. I was able to successfully close on my condo June 1, 2022. Immediately after successfully closing on the condo, I inquired about the $2664.51 I initially paid BlueLeaf (who then gave that money to ***** Fargo) to lock in the 4% loan with ***** Fargo. To this day, BlueLeaf continues to tell me it is part of ***** Fargo's policy that the rate lock fee I initially paid is non-refundable despite ***** Fargo denying my loan. I was not formally told this was part of the policy involved in the rate lock fee, and I believe I am fully entitled to get my $2664.51 back. As a customer of **********************, I *** did NOT get the 4% mortgage rate, 2.) did NOT close on time, 3.) experienced extreme amounts of stress for not having a loan mere days before closing, and 4.) LOST the $2664.51 I gave BlueLeaf to lock in a rate I ultimately did not get. Regardless if ***** Fargo's policy truly "prevents" them from giving BlueLeaf my money back, BlueLeaf, as my mortgage broker, should still refund me my $2664.51. I, as the customer, should not have to be financially responsible for this, and I do not think it's fair business practice at all.
