A friend tried to ship me an Apple Macbook Air and accessories from this store on Dec 15, 2021, at 11:35am. She handed the person my address, and she confirmed the shipping label was going to me in *****. She received a tracking number that is available on the attached receipt (1Z977FV80325596135), and then sent me the picture of the receipt so that I could track it. When I didn't get it on the day that it was supposed to arrive (Dec 20), I checked the tracking number, and it said that the tracking number was not associated with a package. I asked my friend to go to the store to see what was going on. When she went to the store, they looked up the transaction and found that the package had a different tracking number (1Z977FV80360205464) than what was on her receipt and that the package had been sent and delivered to someone with the same name as me "*****************************" but to an address in ************, **. If you look at the attached screen shot of what they showed my friend, you will notice that another label was created on Dec 15 for the package at 4:31pm even though she approved a label at 11:35am. The store told my friend that they would request the package be returned, and they created a new return shipping label (attached) with another tracking number from a ************-based store (1Z977FV82625643657). The package was never picked up nor returned, and the store keeps telling us that it was our fault for not insuring it. Two investigations were opened and closed with us doing all check-ins and footwork with no help at all. The issue is that they changed the address and tracking number after my friend left the store. This is their fault, but they are not taking accountability for it. I contacted *** publicly on ******** and they just responded to save face. Nothing has come of that either. I'm frustrated and just want a complete refund for everything they've lost, which is a total of $1,132.19. My friend filed a claim, but they said they'd only pay us $100.
