I am rejecting this response because the business did not deliver said service. They also did not respond. I have attached a screenshot of my countless correspondence attempts with no reply.
Unfortunately, like my dealings with them, the business continues to lie revealing no accountability or integrity.
How can I escalate this matter? Is there a government agency that can help? Department of consumer affairs? I believe their business practices are predatory and should be investigated.
I appreciate your help with this matter.

In response to customers rejection of our response, the customer was contacted after his November 6, 2024 email expressing satisfaction concerns. An account manager sent an email on November 18, 2024 to set up time with the customer to discuss. Email submitted as an attachment (redacted to maintain privacy of account managers personal information). We are also aware that the customer used the services he paid for in 2023 and 2024. We were sent an email notifying us that we will be taken to collections because we have not paid a bill from February. Cision was emailing two people that no longer work here. I called and notified the ar billing department I had no contact with anyone from their company, I was not notified of the auto - renewal, and I am not sure how they got my email address as I was copied today on the email saying we are going to collections. We did not receive any calls, we did not receive a paper invoice; we got nothing from Cision for the past year. Because they were emailing people that are no longer here. They could not charge our card because the charge card was canceled. I asked why, if the renewal was supposed to renew in February they just tried the card now and I was told "the manager just found your account." We shouldn't have to pay for a service we are not using, and that we didn't even know we had because the person who signed up for this left a year and a half ago.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I called and spoke with two people two separate times in the accounts receivable department, as well as the sales representative who took the account over from the previous representative. I asked the first accounts receivable representative that I wanted the phone number for a manager and I was told that it is not up to them to decide whether or not we receive a credit, I would need to speak with the sales representative. The sales representative said it is not up to him to provide a credit, I would have to speak with the accounts receivable department. I called the accounts receivable department (second call) and asked who I could speak to regarding the charge, and was told only the sales representative would be able to credit us.It was at that point that I decided to get the Better Business Bureau involved. All emails cc'd the manager. I have not heard from the manager, I will not be calling again as we should receive a credit from whomever is able to give us credit.

We received the rejection notice from the customer and reviewed the additional information from the customer. The customer point of contact was given a courtesy notice 90 days before renewal. There was no out of office or bounce back. The account was properly auto-renewed. I am being invoiced for a contract that I did NOT sign. I cannot afford the service which I had previously been able to pay for. My financial situation has dramatically changed. I had been a good customer for over 20 years and now need them to reconsider repeatedly invoicing me. This business is strong-arming us into paying for a contract renewal we did not ask for and have requested more than a dozen times they reverse. From the complaints here t hey appear to have a history of doing this to clients. Cision US retained our company credit card information after we requested that it was deleted from their system (which was confirmed by a Cision US account manager). On ***************************** processed an unauthorized automatic payment for $310 for a charge that we did not approve. We have reached out to numerous contacts at Cision US to get this resolved, with no response so far.Business Response

I am in a similar situation as a previous post from 2022 where our press release went through editorial review, I provided all that was requested of me, and it was approved and published. A business, that is also a client of Cision, was cited in the press release as part of a legal news/call to action and became ***et, threatening action for information that was factual (and public!). Cision made the decision to unpublish the press release, and despite stating on its own website not to remove a press release as it will draw negative attention - they did it without even requesting how we, a paying client, would like the press release to be removed. As a result, Cision tarnished my clients brand and tried to state that we didn't adhere to certain policies that were pulled out of nowhere. When reviewing other press releases on the Cision news site - many, many other press releases violated the "new" policies that were placed on us after another Cision client complained. I have requested a full refund of ALL Cision services as we were not at fault for anything and followed the editorial guidelines when working with Cision. They have lost our trust 100% and play favorites, which is biased. It was such a terrible cluster of mess *** that my client no longer uses Cision, or my services, due to the terrible handling of this situation.Initial Complaint

I am a blogger and was added to the Cision database many years ago. I have attempted to get my profile information removed from their database since November of 2023. Despite making telephone calls and leaving messages at their *******, ******** office *************), my messages were never returned. In addition, I sent an email to *********************************** on December 12 for which I did not receive a response. I also filled out a form online on December 12 requesting my information be removed from their database. Case number ******** was opened, but no one got back to me. I am asking for my information/profile to be removed from this database immediately and I do not want to be contacted by this company ever again. I find it mind boggling that there is not a way to speak directly to someone from their organization to get this resolved. All of my attempts to correct this issue have been ignored.Business Response

This was properly auto renewed in July, but as a courtesy, Cision terminated the renewal and credited the invoice in September. Confirmation of the credit was sent to the customer on Sept. 20.
