            Hired them to move my things from ********* to *********. The estimate was $2000. I had to give them $1100 down. They only took a check or cash. When they came to pick up items they charged me $2400 on top of the $2000. I was very stressed and didnt look over the bill carefully and after they left I realized they charged me $775 too much. They were suppose to minus $775 and they added it instead. When I try to call them, the number on the bill and also the number on their website rings and then disconnects. There is no way to get ahold of anyone at this company. When they got to ********* they said they couldnt pull up in front of the apartment cause the semi wouldnt make the turn and wanted another $800 to move the things in. I paid them to move the things in the apartment and set up beds and furniture. Now I have to rent a small truck so they can move things on the small truck and I have to move my things and set up beds myself. I want money back from them. $775 they overcharged and $150 for stairs when their are not any and $1000 for not moving my things in or setting anything up.

            Ray with **************************** Movers was a God send! We originally contacted with Vanguard Moving. Said they would be with us from beginning to end, They farmed us out to Cross Country Movers & the nightmare began. This company & the movers were highly unprofessional. From the moment of arrival it went from bad to worst. Vanguard originally figured the cf wrong even after giving them the dimensions & also sent pictures of our items. QA at Cross Country called to let us know their driver would arrive between 8 &noon but didn't get there until 6. Had to remove items for the price we contracted & changed extra to wrap our fireplace. The driver wrote on the form the fireplace was damaged before he packaged it which was a lie as I took pictures before he packaged it. The driver said he would meet us the following day at our storage unit in **. He asked what time we would be leaving in the morning, we told him about 7, he said, ok we will see you there.NOT! We called Cross Country Movers they informed us no one was coming, someone would deliver within 23 days! We were devastated..A couple days later, as we were heading back to FL, Cross Country Movers called & said a driver would be delivering on Sun. & would call us in 24 hours with an ETA. Ray with **************************** Movers called Sun. afternoon to let us know he would arrive on Mon. between Noon-2. We were elated, turned around & came back to **********, ** to await delivery. Meeting *** was such a pleasure, someone with integrity, professionalism, courtesy, kindness & professional. Ray unwrapped the fireplace, we saw the damage Cross Country Movers did & how they had put on the list it was previously damaged! You have a real treasure in Ray, what an asset he is to your company! *** is caring kind, helpful, polite and respectful, you are blessed! We highly recommend Ray & this company for his integrity, professionalism &respect for ones property. Thank you ***, YOUR THE BEST!
