I was the West Loop Nails Client for over 8 years, going there every 3 weeks. By the end of summer, 2022 I realized that something is wrong with my toenails. On September 22 I went to my dermatologist to find out that clearly I was infected with toenails fungus during my pedicure. West Loop was the only place I was going, I didnt go to any public pools, showers, hotel bathrooms, etc. I informed formal owner- ******* about the discovery, asking her for reimbursement for my dermatologist visit and the cost of first bottle of the medication. The doctor said that this will take a long time, approximately 6 months because toenails are growing very slow. Normally the cost of medication for fungus is about $900, my dermatologist sent my prescription to the wholesale pharmacy where I pay $65 copay. I informed ******* that the treatment will cost $65 per bottle, that is possible that I will be using 6 of them. All depends on the progress. ******* reimbursed me for the visit and first bottle. Today I sent it to her the receipt for my refill ( bottle# 2 of the treatment). ******* sent me back unpleasant text stating that shes not responsible for it after I informed her in Separate that this is the long process. West Loop Nail ruined my toenails, while I havent any problems in my life, cause me having anxiety because of the look of my toenails and caused me having expensive treatment for which I never wish for. She acts very unprofessional, I gave her so much business and thats how shes paying me back for. Im concerned about other customers and their safety!Business response

This letter is regarding ID ********. We believe there was a non-valid complaint that was file towards West *******************. The customer ********************************* last visit to our establishment on 7/15/22. She stated that we cause her toe fungal infection without proof. We believe her complaints is unjustifiable and not our wrong doing after evaluating the photos of her toes.
With that being said, she stated November 26, 2022 that we are at fault. She visited us on 5/28/2022 came back on 7/15/22 and had multiple prior visits before 5/28/22. During the last visit she had no sign of any problems and had not stated any issues. Therefore, clearly from the photos she shared with us, it was some biological toe infection of her own. Without cause, proof of our wrongdoing but as a loyal unhappy customer we did provide her $115.00 courtesy refund for her visit, and she still unhappy and demand more.
We ask for fair and equal treatment to something we clearly did not cause but already extended a courtesy refund. Please let us know the outcome of your review and decision. We appreciated that we were included, informed, and looking forward to hearing back from you.
Warm regards,
