My son was looking for used vehicle he saw McGrath Acura had a used 2023 TLX for sale $27,995 with **** miles listed on their website. I called McGrath on 1/9/2024 spoke with **** and scheduled an appointment to see the car on 1/13/2024. My son decided to go to the dealership early to test drive the vehicle and get a quote for his trade (2015 ***** Silverado 4 dr). He spoke with **** and *********** the Used Car Manager and was told they would sell 2023 Acura for $26,817.69. ** wrote this price on a sheet of paper but he did not sign or initial the paper. Two days before I am scheduled to purchase the vehicle ** raises the price of the car to $28,495.00 and that is the price we have to start the negotiation. Then he discount by $500.00 which puts it at the original price and refuses to honor the price of $26,817.69. This was an AWLFUL experience. I drove up from ******* to purchase the vehicle. I took cash out of the bank for a down payment. I do believe he gave my son that low price to lure us to the dealership believing we would pay whatever price he offered. We did not purchase the vehicle. I do not understand why **/Used Car Manager raised the price of vehicle two days prior to my schedule visit.

Lost faith with Acura. Purchased a brand new 2017 MDX with Mcgrath of Downtown. Problems left and right. Warranty fixed it but alot of wasted time for a "brand new car". I wonder if my MDX was built on a "Monday".... either way. A few months ago my passenger side inner tail light went out. Called service and left a voicemail. Didn't hear back. Called and left another voicemail, didn't hear back until days later in which I already used my own money and labor to repair the problem before I get ticketed. The light was bad due to a "recall" that they have already "reworked" but still failed. Both the dealer and ***** relations denied any responsibily. Typical. Don't buy any 2017 Acura MDX's!!!
