For the last 3 weeks cannot get the sun times delivered to my house. When the paper does show up they deliver the tribune not the sun times. I have called and used the auto mated system to request a redelivery and it never happens. I have called personally to the customer service line and I cannot get the delivery service to call me back as requested = calls for a supervisor were never returned as requested and I cannot get a credit for all theses missed delivery and wrong papers delivered.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: Last Saturday I didn't get a paper and to 5/14 the tribune was delivered so that's twice now in 2 weeks this has been incorrect. can we have the sun times manager call the delivery service again to get this corrected going forward? Thanks.

I have been a ********* customer for years. The newspaper delivery man stopped delivering papers to my home on June 2,2023. I reached out to the ********* to let them know that i had'nt received any papers. I was told that they would make a report of it and give me cedit. Well , i called them about 3 weeks, and finally i called and told them j to just ***** my subscription and send my refund.. I was told that ********* doesnt give refunds. This was not my fault that i was'nt getting my papers. I spoke to a supervisor who said upper management will have to call you, and also they decide if they will give you a refund. I have not heard from upper management, nor do i have my refund almost $20.00. Had I known that they were doing this, i never would have gotten the paper in the first place.Business response

***** monyhs ago, for medical reasons, i had the chicago sun-times deliver my house. i ended home delivery . since then, i have gotten various letters from the paper with offers to re-subscribed. i have called at least, 5 times to have my name, address taken out of their system. i received letters in mid january, feb 9th, may 30th to re-up. i have called to talk to customer service, a supervisor 2 times named *****. approx dates of calls were feb 9th, and march 16th. i do not remember all thedates, sorry. at 1 point, i even talked to someone in the corporate office, and was assured , the mailings with my name and address would stop. now the mailings are coming in envelopes with just an address, 848 e grand chicago, adressed with my name or current resident. all i keep hearing is, 1 excuse after the other. i dont know if this is the sun-times, or any of its umbrella companies trying to irritate me, but i am begging for any mailings from the chicago sun-times, umbrella companies, or any addresses affiliated with this publication, to stop. ***** months of trying is long enough. thank-you for any assistance. *********************Business response

For the past week we have not received a newspaper from the Suntimes even though we are paid up till October. We have called every day and were told it would be delivered. Then we had to call back and get credit. Today we called to cancel the paper since were not getting it any way and were told they will not credit us the $29 balance we have on our account. We were never informed of this when we started the service. Apparently you have to go to their website to find and read that little piece of information. So in other words they are charging us for something they are not providing and unwilling to return our money. In my mind that is theft of services. I would like the paper stopped and a full refund issued of my current credit. Which they are refusing to do even after speaking to the supervisor. I am hoping you can help with this and let other people know of their deceptive practices.Business response

I have been a daily [7days] subscriber to the Chicago SunTimes for over 50 years. Since October 2022 our newspaper has stopped being delivered on our porch/doorstep and is now being delivered on the sidewalk/walkway leading up to the doorstep. I sent an email to ********* about the delivery issue on 11/27//22 and received a response back from **** in Customer service on 11/28/22 indicating they have updated the subscription to reflect this specific location for my delivery and a complaint has been filed with the carrier. I sent another email on 12/6/22 reporting the same problem as it has not been corrected. I received an email reply 12/6/22 from **** indicating they have filed complaints with the carrier and have escalated the issue up to the distribution manager. As of the filing of the complaint today, 12/8/22 the issue has not been corrected.Initial Complaint

I renewed my subscription for home delivery of the Chicago sun-times newspaper hoping that their delivery issues had been resolved. The deliveries got much worse than in previous years. I talked to a supervisor at the Chicago sun-times asking for a full refund of my $150.00 for not receiving my papers. I am a senior on a fixed income. They claim there are no refunds for lousy delivery, only extensions of paper delivery which I cannot keep track of. I have been a reader of their paper for 45 years. Can you please re-open my case as the Chicago Sun-Times could not deliver once again on their word just as they failed me on their word that I for $150.00 a year would get a daily paper delivery every day for 12 months? I agreed to their offer of $125.00 as a courtesy refund. I still have not received that compensation. Please help a.s.a.p. Thank You And Have A Blessed Day. *********************.

I have been a ********* customer for over 20 years. For the past 15 years, all payments have been sent electronically. The invoice for ******* was sent in December, electronically paid on 12/30 and delivered on 12/31. In *******, messages from the collection department began. I sent a scan of the December to the ********************************************************** and received the ******* 25th response. In February, another message was sent to the customer service email. They thanked me for my patience and said they were working with ********** to locate the payment. This weekend, they cancelled our subscription for non-payment. There is a major problem with their finance department. No one else has had problems with our electronic payment. The fact that they haven't been able to identify the error and have penalized us because of their incompetence is very upsetting. I would like to have our paper delivery reinstated and my account appropriately credited. They obviously have posted our payment to another account. I'm sure there are other customers experiencing the same problem. The level of incompetence is shocking. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.Business response
