I met with Dr *** ******* at ***** Dental in **********, ******** this morning (2/22/25) as a new patient for a regular cleaning. When I arrived they requested that I do x-rays. I asked if it would be all right if I emailed them my most recent x-rays from my previous dentist from where we lived in ************** (my family moved to ********** in August 2024 and I had just had my regular cleaning done). They agreed so I sent those over. Then Dr. ******* came to examine my teeth and said that I need to do a deep cleaning rather than a regular cleaning. I asked what the difference was and he said it was more intensive. I asked if insurance covered it and he said they would give me a proposal. So then the office assistant brought me the proposal and my insurance would cover 90% and I would pay 10%. I again requested to better understand the difference and why I needed a deep cleaning versus the regular cleaning that I had scheduled. A hygienist came to tell me that they would numb my mouth and clean under the gums to prevent from bone loss. I asked if bone loss was a concern for me based on my x-rays and she said no. I said then I would feel more comfortable doing the regular cleaning today as I had been scheduled for and allocated time for and then when I come in next time I would have had a chance to allocate more time for a deeper cleaning. At this point I had already been waiting to start my cleaning for 45 minutes. The hygienist came back after a few more minutes saying that Dr. *** ******* refused to give me a regular cleaning and would only do a deep cleaning. I was very surprised given I had not refused the deep cleaning, just requested that it be postponed until I had more understanding of it and more time to have it done. I asked if I could speak with him but they told me that he was doing a cleaning for another patient and was unable to speak to me. But because he was unwilling to see me I left and requested to speak to the office manager on Monday.

My daughter, ******** *******, went in for fillings for two cavities at My Dentist in ************. She was given too much numbing medicine that did not take effect, and she felt the pain of the drilling. She told the doctor (**** ******) she felt the pain and he proceeded with the procedure telling her it was 'part of the procedure'. He did not use a mouth guard or tooth pillow until the last ten minutes of the procedure which resulted in my daughter leaving her mouth open for over an hour. The dentist told her she could not close her mouth and at one time even pushed on her jaw when she tried to put her head down, telling her she must leave her mouth open and hold her head a certain way. My daughter repeatedly voiced her discomfort, was crying and shaking from anxiety and pain. The dentist did not stop and used a harsh tone questioning if my daughter was really feeling pain. The results of this visit were my daughter having excessive swelling of her face, an allergic rash on one side of her face, lock jaw from being told to hold her mouth open without support and mental anguish from how she was spoken to and treated.

I have been trying to get in touch with Eastern Dental Orthodontics in ********* since July. First was to schedule a follow up appt. with my daughter. Second, to obtain a copy of her dental records. In July, I was told they were on vacation until the 11th. There is no answering service and no one physically has answered the phone in the astronomical amount of times I have called. Only option is to leave a call back number. I no longer wish to have the follow up appt. but I do need her dental records. I finally spoke with ***** on 8/29 who said he was going to put in a request to send me a release of records form. This did not happen. Having to call again and again put in a call back number, I put in another request on 9/10/24. During this phone call, I was reluctantly given an email address which I used thinking I would get a response but that has not happened. Eastern Dental and Eastern Dental Orthodontics, while they reside in the same building, appear to be 2 different entities. Eastern Dental sent me a form and released her records quickly but they indicated that I need to obtain the orthodontic records separately even though they share the same space. If you can somehow get them to respond to me and provide me with a records release form and then release her records, I would be extremely grateful. I honestly do not know where else to turn.

On Friday 4/26, I went saw Dr ******************************* to have some teeth extracted and bone grafts done with sedation. This was at ******** Oral, Facial and *********************** I was given a bill with a copay of $1151 which was paid the day of surgery. I was called back by the nurse and asked to sit in the dental chair. The nurse then placed something in my mouth to hold it open so I was unable to talk. The dr came in and gave me an IV and started the sedation. The sedation did nothing I was awake and aware the whole time. He gave me ******** but not enough as I could feel him pulling my teeth out and stitching my gums. The only way I could communicate with him was by whining and moaning loudly when he pulled the teeth. Instead of stopping and evaluating if I needed more sedation or ********, he continued on and told me to save my whining for later. Almost immediately after surgery I was rushed to get up out of the chair and lay on a cot in the hallway, where I laid to rest about 5 minutes after surgery we were being rushed to leave with no home going instructions. I called the office later and spoke to the office manager who said she would address my concerns with *******************. ******************* called me and never apologized for what he put me through but did say he would have the office manager call me to issue a refund for the sedation. I spoke with the office manager Monday morning about the refund and she said I was not due a refund as promised by *******************. She said the sedation was taken off the bill but my copay did not change, even though the bill was less. I feel I am due a refund for the pain and suffering that ******************* put through. It does not make sense that if the bill was less, my copay remained the same. I feel like I was lied to and treated very poorly. The least they could do is try to make it right but theyve done nothing! Im absolutely furious with this Dr and the fact that he would treat a patient like this.

Aspen Dental in *************, ** *****. **************************, owner. March 10, 2021, I, ***********************, saw the dentist at Aspen and was told all the upper teeth needed pulled and dentures made then 7 bottom needed pulled and a partial put in. On March 23, these teeth were pulled and a temporary set put in until the gums healed, which took approximately 6 months when new impressions were made, they started off so big and thick i would gag all the time. I went back and they would sand them down ; but I have went back so many times and they are still not right. Two months ago a tooth fell out so the lab glued it back in, a month later while ******** the upper plate broke in half, I took them back and they super glued it together and I picked them up the next day and 5 days later the dentures broke again in the same place. So now I am attempting to get back my portion of $3,654.68, I bought the 7 year warranty dentures, ComfiLyte style, of the $8,653.00. Insurance paid the difference. Nothing was ever mentioned about a 90 day money back guarantee during the 3 years that Ive been going there but now that they are breaking and the teeth are coming out of the gums, from beginning I have told they made my mouth sore and my mouth sore because I might be allergic to the materials they were made from. Thank you for listening.

I went to ***************** for a dental implant. He explained to me that he did not accept my dental insurance, but that the insurance could pay directly to me what was covered. He then put into the paperwork for the insurance to pay him and took the insurance money after I paid him in full for the procedure. When I questioned ****************** and his staff I was told I wouldnt receive the money until I had the tooth restored, and that they would use the insurance money if anything were to go wrong with what I had already paid him in full for. This made no sense to me considering, one, he told me he does not accept my insurance, and two, if I already had paid in full, why would I be responsible for any mistakes made on his part? When questioned in person, he got angry and defensive, spoke over me, and started yelling at me. He then lied and said it was *******, who paid him by mistake and they always make mistakes which is why he does not accept their insurance. Then contradicted himself and said well, you initialed the paperwork that said to pay me. Never once was this disclosed to me and I was very specific about me and me only receiving the funds back from the insurance company. So not only did I call his office multiple times checking on where the money was, but I was lied to multiple times and told they had no idea where the funds were. I finally contacted the insurance and was told the truth. They were sent paperwork to pay the doctor directly. This is complete fraud. Now the implant has failed and hes blaming the dentist who restored the tooth saying it was over loaded and that I was required to come back to him after getting the restoral. Never once had he informed me to come back and see him. Now he refuses to fix the implant and wants to charge me again for work that was already paid for. Im assuming he does this a lot with his patients, claiming not to accept their insurance just to keep the money for himself in the end. Downright criminal. He needs stopped.

I signed on with Affordable Denture and Implants in **** Landing, ** in 04/2022. For $27,267. I was to receive a complete set of lower individual implants (9) and a implant supported upper snap-on denture. The surgeries were completed without incident but then they failed to renew my dentist's 1 year contract. The 2nd dentist lasted 2 visit & was extremely unprofessional. I filed a complaint with corporate & was told that I would be contacted. When he wasn't there at the next visit I was told that he had to return to ***** because of immigration issues. His name is still on the door as residing dentist. Usually the work was done by an dental assistant with no dentist present. After MONTHS of waiting for my crown to arrive from the lab--with myriad delays, excuses and outright lies, my bottom implants were fitted 2 times & sent back for final firings, which again took months. My implants were cemented in by the assistant & did not fit as they did at the last fitting to the point that I questioned whether they had been placed in proper sequence. *see graphic/pix. The right 2 molar Crowns rubbed my right cheek and there was space on my left side, so that I would chew on the outer rim of those molars. I was told that this a juxtaposition was impossible & that the left canine tooth was at fault for the improper ************ was removed, an impression made, and sent back to the lab. 5 weeks later the tooth arrived and was replaced/reglued. It was such a tight fit that within hours my RIGHT molars had loosened. My last visit on 11/21 had an attending dentist determine that, after ********** scans, BOTH implants had failed, & they were extracted. I now need bone grafts, 3 months MORE healing time, MORE surgery, and MORE delays. If I had known that this would consume 2 years of my life, I would have had second thoughts about signing a contract in April 2022. I have not gotten what was promised to me, and have had nothing but aggrevation.
