Certapro was hired to paint the outside of my house payment was made July 12, 2020. The paint job on my house was not done per the contract. The contract states the home would have two coats of paint, and the contractor only applied one coat. I've sent texts and pictures to the sales rep ***************** and was told the painter would come back out to complete the job per our contract. When the painter came back out he use a brush to apply paint to the seam where the siding attaches to each other. The contactor said he was not told to apply another coat of paint. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge due to inadequate work. I was told the dispute did not come in on time and to try and work it out with the company.Business response

We completed this project back in 2020. We completed a walk through with the customer at the end of the project and she was satisfied with the end result. She called us back for touch *** that we took care of in a timely fashion. We then returned again for another round of touch *** and completed those as well. **** is stating that we did not apply a 2nd coat to her home. It clearly indicates by the invoices we provided from our paint supplier that we purchased enough paint quantities for 2 finished coats to all surfaces listed within our proposal. **** contacted her credit card company and contested the charges for 1/2 of the money owed. We then contacted our processing credit card company that contested her claim which we eventually won after ************************** if you have any questions.Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because: First off the project was completed in August 2021 not 2020 as indicated by person answering complaint. As indicated by the pictures, contract and conversation I submitted. Where the owner got 2020 from I don't know. There is a two year warranty on this job and they are not willing to uphold. I am not satisfied with the work that had been performed by Certapro. The salesman never came out to inspect the completed work performed by their painters. I waited until paint had dried and the notice all the area where the paint was not properly applied. I also dispute that two coats of paint were used. I did tried to dispute charge with credit card but never received their response. I was looking for something to my email only to discover I had to retrieve that information online. Once I received and rejected to owner's statement that the work was completed per contract, the timeframe had lapse. Thereby the dispute couldn't go any further and I was told by my credit card company to try and work this dispute out with Certapro.
