I received a call from a mediator trying to collect in excess of $1100 for a loan from this company I never took or heard of. When I asked for information, they said they could only provide it to an attorney. The supposed loan was in 2019, so here ******** years later and I'm just now hearing of this? I asked for a copy of the contract I signed. The employer they named was home daycare which I never heard of and it dont make any sense. They told me a supposed contract date. They said if I didn't pay within 35 days they would put a lien on my home and garnish my wages. This is harrassment, pure and simple. It's not based on fact, they won't provide documentation, and they make threats. At first, I was frightened that I had this huge judgement coming against me, but now I see it's just a scam.Initial Complaint

I got a call from a company name GFN saying I owe ******** to Pay Day Cash Loan from 11 years ago that I do not remember. That they are going to freeze my bank account show up at my home and work garnish my wages. That I will have to appear in court.Initial Complaint

Received a phone call from someone representing an attorneys office stating that I took out a loan in 2006 from Pay day loan yes. I told them I never took out a loan from this company and they verbally threatened to freeze my bank accounts. I believe this company is trying to receive money from being sued without having a license to conduct business.Initial Complaint

When I asked for information, they said they could only provide it to an attorney. The supposed loan was in 2015, so here ******** years later and I'm just now hearing of this? I asked for a copy of the contract I signed. The employer they named I left 4 years prior to the supposed contract date. They said if I didn't pay within 35 days they would put a lien on my home and garnish my wages. This is harrassment, pure and simple. I need this business to remove my personal information to include, SS#, Address, Phone numbers, etc. I have never had any business dealings nor loans from this company who are attempting to take me to court for a Loan repayment, I believe. I was contacted by a Mediator in MD concerning this matter. I have been residing in *****, **. since 11/2019, prior to that I was residing in **********, **. from 5/2019 - 11/2019. Before that, **********, **. 06/2018 - 05/2019. I have not received any documentation, notifications, *********** from this company prior to today!!Initial Complaint

Received a call from IFC regarding a Debt for a payday yes company that I have never heard of until now.They're trying to collect over ******* dollars from me and threatening civil actions, again I have never done business with any payday yes companies while I was employed by a certain company over 10 plus years ago, and just all of a sudden I have a ******* debt to them,this company needs to be caught and publicly reprimanded as scammers/Hackers
