In March of 2021 my daughter 3 year old at the time got injured at the ****************** airport. While we were at the gate waiting to board our flight my daughter slipped and hit her head on an old airport chair that had sharp edges cutting her forehead open and requiring stitches. My issue was the airport chairs where worn out with sharp edges and were not kid friendly. Airport staff commented on how the chairs where in bad shape and sections of the airport had already started replacing the chairs but unfortunately the sections we were in was not updated. After my daughter got injured paramedics came and we had to get an ambulance to pick us up from the airport gate to take us to the hospital. We missed our flight but fortunately we were able to get booked on another flight. After we got back from our trip I decided to persue a claim with the ***************. I use legal shield and they assigned me to Stone and ***** The initial interaction with the team was professional at first but things took a turn when I started not hearing back from anyone on the status of my case. They had been working on my case for over a year and a half and they kept telling me my drafting the settlement demand. One of the last time a talked to them they told me for the first time that they think It will be a difficult case but they were still willing to submit the claim. They told me this after a year and half. My emails started getting no replies and never received any call backs. My comlaint is my claim was never submitted after all this time wasted waiting, their communication was not satisfactory throughout the process. They was no clear next steps and timeframes. Submitting the settlement demand has taken a very long time especially after I have submitted everything they need. I would have appreciated if they just tell me they dont want to persue my case becasue thats what it seems like so I can move on. My last attempt to communicate with them 2 months ago and no response

That is not accurate. We have communicated with the client on several occasions throughout his case. Also, the client's case was submitted for settlement on November 27, 2023 to one defendant and on December 4, 2023 to another. We have yet to receive a response from either defendant but will discuss the details of the response and/or offer once we receive them.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Sincerely,

I hired Stone and **** for my worker's compensation claim. When **** submitted his response to the claim adjusters statement, **** spelled my name wrong I asked him to fix it or I'll fix it. I believed the dates were incorrect and I asked him to fix that as well. Next he filed a motion to withdraw for irreconcilable differences leaving me with incorrect paperwork and no attorney.

      ********************:

As was previously discussed with you by **** Stone, the reason for our firm withdrawing from your case was solely due to your ****** aggressive, rude, insulting, threatening and disrespectful manner that you interacted with Mr. ********************** and our staff, specifically our paralegal *****************************. You acknowledged the inappropriateness of your behavior in your email to Mark Stone on April 11, 2023. While we respect and understand your situation and personal conditions which may be causing you to act out in that manner, and out of discretion we will not discuss those conditions further here, we will nevertheless not allow our personnel to be subjected to that treatment. As you acknowledged in that same email, the spelling of your last name with 1 "L" as opposed to 2 "L"s was only clerical and had no impact on the value or process of your case. Your words in that regard were "which is not a big deal". To be clear, all of the paperwork filed with the ******** ******************************** for your case absolutely spelled your name correctly.  In addition, in response to you leaving voicemails with various individuals of our office on April 7, 2023, our office called you back that same day to address any concerns you had. Instead, you refused to speak on the phone and commanded that we speak. Finally, we have addressed the "dates issue" that you refer to in  your complaint here by both over the phone conversations  and in writing. While we sincerely appreciate your concerns and value everyone of our clients, it is clear at this point that a healthy working attorney-client relationship is not possible and it is best for both you and our office for us that we withdraw. To conclude, while we will not comment here on the speculated value of your claim and certainly wish that you receive the maximum compensation that your claim is worth, we cannot agree with your assertion here that it is worth ONE TRILLION DOLLARS. We wish you the best of luck in your claim.

I am rejecting this response because: while I have apologized for my statement which in no way was threatening to any personnel but only strongly suggesting that mistakes be corrected by personnel or I'll have to fix the mistakes myself.non threatening and non disrespectful.  Yet Stone and **** seeks this approach when they are clearly wrong and have acknowledged mistakes were made but not fixed and then withdraw leaving me losing weeks of profit. With Stone and **** doing amateur work the office of Stone and **** neglected adding my second job which due to known work injury I have lost time at work which relates to lost profits and I have a patent in early stage that is indeed worth a trillion dollars. Take a look and see. Facts don't change. I also have the communication of emails that show all communication is non threatening only sternly stating mistakes have to be corrected because they place me in a negative light. Which is understandable and then Stone and **** refers to my ailments.  I'll elaborate here. Mental sickness for me is being touched and now I want to talk to a psychiatrist to see if I'm wrong.

      Sincerely,

      *******************************

      Sir:

We strongly disagree with your characterization of events. We further take your accusations very seriously. They are completely unfounded and without merit. Your claim is active and pending. It is obvious by your last response that continued representation of you in this matter is untenable. Therefore, we advise you again to seek ***********. We wish you well in your case.

I am rejecting this response because: my accusations are on solid foundation. The mistakes that Stone and **** made are still on my file and I have all the correspondence. It's obvious that I'll have to gain new representation to fix the mistakes. I will fix the mistakes **** Stone made but request that Stone and **** compensate me for the losses these mistakes have cost me. 1 trillion dollars.

      Sincerely,
