On March 25th 2023 we went to Pocket Puppies to see a female Yorkshire Terrier located at *********************************************. We meet with employee ******************* and visited with the female yorkie, now named ****. When meeting Nova she was already 4 months old. DOB 11/20/2022. After about 2 hours of visiting with her, we started the purchase process. During the signing of the paperwork is when we were told she was spayed on 1/16/2023. We specifically went there to find a female Yorkie to breed with our male ******. We purchased her anyway. That following week, I had my male Yorkie we paid $4,500 for neutered. Fast forward to 8/26/23 and Nova went into a heat. She was NOT spayed as told. I brought her to my vet to confirmation this This bill was $268.28. I emailed the documents to them. The owner is refusing to work with me. The only option was that i can bring her back (Not a chance) or I MUST take Nova to their vet located in *************, ** (70 miles from my home) I dont know this vet or how they care for their animals and already have an established vet we go to (********************, ********** IL) I do not have the ability to get to ************* for this matter as i work. I provided the owner of pocket puppies the total coast it would be to have Nova spayed at my vet ($498.25) and advised if they would cover the cost of her spaying and we will call this matter resolved. They declined and will not respond to any additional attempts to resolve this issue. I do not receive any call backs or responses to my emails. I did request the owner reach out to me or if we could meet in person to discuss this matter and to get a resolution and I never get a response. Not only did we neuter our $4,500 male Yorkie that we didnt even need to do (because **** was to already be spayed based on our contract we signed) but we are also out the vet bill to confirm **** was not spayed and also the price we spent on the purchase of Nova that was $1,700.00.
