    Beware their "LUXURY BOUDOIR PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE GIVEAWAY", it is not much of a giveaway and they are shady about their communication. They'll send you an email congratulating you on winning a giveaway but in order to book your appointment you have to call them. I emailed them back inquiring about their booking availability and photo pricing since it wasn't listed on their website. I noted that I'd be willing to set up a call with them after my questions were answered and they straight up refused to email me back. I received a text and a phone call the following day regarding my email but again, they wouldn't answer any questions until I chatted with them over the phone. This feels like a scam. They advertise a lavish giveaway to lure you into their studio, take photos, and then charge astronomical prices (someone paid $900 for 8 photos bro! check out ****** reviews) for the final copies. They also mention having to reserve your spot for $250 that goes towards hair and makeup thats "fully refundable" but $250 is an obscene amount of money for hair and makeup and I get the impression that money would inevitably be treated as a credit towards your prints if you want them, hence it being "fully refundable" because you may not want your photos.A company with integrity would be upfront about the entire giveaway process, would be willing to communicate in writing in case something needs to be disputed, and would include their prints/final files cost on their website.

    Sylk Marti follows a communication protocol for every service we provide to ensure our clients are fully informed. In regards to our giveaway, we believe the services provided in the giveaway are appropriately valued based on industry standards and the level of service we offer. As is standard within the service/creative industry, we prefer speaking to our clients via a consultation call prior to booking.This call is necessary to provide detailed information, answer questions, and most importantly gather information from our prospective clients to ensure we can provide them a curated experience and build relationships. In addition, appointment availability is always changing and we are unable to guarantee appointments offered via text or email, due to the potential delay in response. Currently, we do not list prices on our website for any of our services. However, upon calling, we are more than happy to provide you with a beginning estimate, based on the needs and details of each inquiry. Your questions were sent via e-mail on Jun 17, 2024 at 9:35 PM and we promptly replied to you the following afternoon. Our office hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We encourage our staff to phone first when questions arise to provide opportunities for followup questions to be answered in detail. When we were unable to contact you via phone, we responded to each of your questions in detail via email on June 18, 2024 at 3:49 PM, less than 24 hours from your inquiry. During a standard consultation call, which you refused, the benefits of the giveaway are explained in detail along with a reference to the first detailed email you received containing information about the experience. For our boudoir clients, we provide concierge client service that provides hair styling, makeup application, and photoshoot by our team of certified and dedicated cosmetologists and photographers. The giveaway also includes a product credit, editing/retouching, as well as an online gallery of portraits that are selected by each client individually. Although we offer a product credit, there is no obligation or minimum investment required; this is communicated vastly throughout the experience. Booking deposits are a standard industry practice to ensure relationship and commitment between client and provider. Although booking deposits for all our services are non refundable, we are committed to the value of this giveaway, therefore this deposit is returned to the client upon their request if opted against applying it to additional portraits insuring that it is fully refundable.We encourage prospective clients to perform their own market research on the industry standard pricing for any services offered in order to make an informed decision that best serves them. We offer transparency with all our clients and prospective clients. We offer ample opportunities for communication and conversations prior to booking. We communicated our starting pricing and answered your questions via email. Upon booking, we provide our clients with a digital magazine to help them prepare for a session which also includes written investment information. Within the scope of the internet, there are several businesses that choose to list their services without pricing, prompting the client to call allowing the provider an opportunity to build relationship and customize their inquiry to best suit their needs. Unfortunately, by airing your misconceptions publicly, you denied us an opportunity to address your concerns and clarify your understanding of this opportunity and our business practices. With over a decade of global service in our industry, we pride ourselves in not only putting the customer's needs first, but also successfully arriving to an amicable resolution. We will always prefer verbal communication and private resolution, followed up with written confirmation instead of publicly misrepresenting our business.
