I called **** Baethke for an emergency broken pipe. I needed a camera inspection to locate the break. Although they did come out the next day, I was told $89.50 over the phone and then the technician would give me a quote for the repair. When they arrived, my husband was told it would be $1,200 just to use the camera and the locator. Since it was an emergency, we had no other choice. This was for NO REPAIR, only CAMERA AND LOCATOR. Afterwards I called 5 other plumbing services who all were quite surprised: they all quoted me between $0 and $299 for the same service. I believe **** Baethke and Sons took advantage of us being in a situation with no other options.Again NO WORK WAS DONE TO REPAIR. This was simply the cost for a camera to be put down my sewer and the break to be located. Quick diagnosis with easy cleanout access They were going to do the repair but never came back to us.Business response

I have reviews all of our phone conversations as well as all information about our visit and the services performed. I also discussed everything with both our office staff and field staff, even confirming that permits were attained for the video and locate. We had done everything as I would have expected until the point we dropped the ball and failed to get back to our customer with repair options and cost. I dont have an excuse or legitimate reason other than we failed to follow through. I would like to offer a full 100% refund including the cost of permits, as well as offer my apologies for not delivering the level of service that they deserved and we promise to provide.
