When I started pole dancing, I was looking for a challenge and something different to motivate myself to move my body after a couple of months of the pandemic. The more classes I took, the more I became obsessed with pole and felt my strength and confidence increasing. Pole dancing has been so many things to me at many different times It has given me lifelong friendships, access to my sensual self and marked a new phase in my healing journey. As someone with complex PTSD, pole classes, particularly ******'s warm teaching style and welcoming space, have given me the hope and the possibility to feel reconnected with my body. I've been taking ******'s classes one to two times a week for nearly three years, and during this time, I slowly felt safer and stronger in my body and reconnected with my inner child. ****** is excellent and adjusts to all different teaching styles and bodies; without her, I don't think I would be this confident woman who recently started burlesque or even continue doing pole. Because of ****** and pole velocity, I can firmly say that I plan to do pole fitness/dancing until my body can no longer. I am very grateful for this place and highly recommend it! 100/10!
