I just moved in presidential tower in the west loop of ******* Im so insulted paying ($1900-$2500) and I have to live with ROACHES! I have reached out to 3-1-1 and CITY of ******* I have acknowledged the property manager and nothing has been done, but the maintenance guys coming to spray which is clearly doing nothing because the whole building is infested with roaches. I was leaving out today and seen one walking in the hallway. I seen some outside of my door. I also have tried to take the steps of cleaning up every day before I leave out of my home so that I wont come back and see these. Things is clearly nothing that I can do at this point may be the City Of ******* or the Better Business Bureau can do something pleaseInitial Complaint

I moved in 2023 into this apartment. I had maintenance workers enter my unit without my consent all the time with or without me there even tho I told them numerous of times to not enter. They also made a fake report saying that I allowed them to enter, I also had a stalker staff member who showed up at my door at 11pm with a gift for me which I thought was weird because I wasnt sure how the man knew where I lived. I tried contacting staff management and no one did anything still to this day.Initial Complaint

Presidential Towers is advertised as a smoke free property. I have been dealing with my unit smelling like marijuana/cigarette smoke since June 2023. My lease ended September 2023. I tried to get in touch with my Tower manager, ********************* by calling, emails and stopping by the leasing office, always with her not being available. I end up talking to the Tower 3 manager and then she called me. With my lease expiring, I informed her that resigning with the smoke issue was a problem. She said she would waive the month/month fee of $500 as she work to correct the smoking issue. October and November was waived but now wants me to pay for December and January. Within this time I have emailed her along with upper management requesting a meeting to discuss and come to some resolution and this is before there ever was a balance. They NEVER replied. January 10, **** she sends me a five day notice! I was shocked. I reach out to set up time to talk with her. I again have to talk to Tower 2 manger before she gets back to me by email but still did not give me a time to meet, so I just stopped by. After being given a hard time, she finally mat with me with the Tower 2 manager, ******. She now has it as I need to make a decision: sign a lease and stay in my unit, switch units or move but she will not remove the $1000 fee for the two months. I have the email showing that I asked her to put the month/month fee waiver in writing, she informed me that there was no need as it would show on my payment ledger, which it did for two months. Now shes putting it on me stating policy is only for one month, she never told me that. I asked her why didnt she informed me of this when I asked her to put it in writing, why was it done for 2, how am I to know? No answer from her. Due to their lack of communication & putting me off until the end of another month there will be another $500 charge for February and now its you need to make a decision or the eviction process will be started. UNFAIR!
