      I am a disabled person receiving SSDI. I rented an apartment that this company manages. The property manager will not return my security deposit of $380. I have reached out numerous times and there has been no response. It's sad that a company this is trying to keep a security deposit from a disabled person.

      On 9/12/2022 we emailed about early termination on our lease and correct amounts. They emailed back on 9/21/2022 stating the email was lost. We had been asking for clarification on charges and monies we overpaid before paying the remaining balance. Before we could get this clarification we received a collections letter not even 30 days after moving out. We reached out and asked to be taken out of collections and met with rude remarks. It has now been over 30 days since we have received a response from the leasing office and find its extremely unprofessional. We endure mold damage and personal property damage along with leaking AC unit for over 2 years with no resolution. Not once made a massive fuss over it. We would like to make the final payment but not until we are taken out of collections. We dont want to escalate this further.

      Whether you feel it was handled in a timely manner and professionally is irrelevant. Every conversation I had with the leasing office was met with hostility so naturally I returned the favor. I can provide the email that states oh I must have lost track of the email Im sorry example 1. Of timely. I can also provide emails stating we planned to pay the balance in payments and when we went to pay found out we had been sent to collections after 30 days? Seems a bit rash. If you simply look at the track record and reviews of this property you will see what I am talking about. Simply saying its not our fault and throwing your hands in the air is not a response. We dealt with multiple mold issues as well as a leaking AC for our entire time there. Renovation crews entered our apartment damaged furniture and lost our key. If youd like I can also provide pictures of all damages as well a the cost to replace the damaged items. Or you can simply move us from collection, we pay what we owe and this all goes away. I will not go away quietly. I will make sure everyone know about the conditions the apartments are in. The ball is in your court. Have a fantastic day.
