I am currently renting a unit with this company, have been there for 3 months and ran into an issue with my last month's rent payment. Situation being; I use cashier's checks to pay the company rent, and this check is given to the property manager named ******, per company procedure. ****** then gives the payment to ******** Slater, a representative of the company. It turns out ****** lost a check given to him for rent for October 2023, claims he was not given a check and when asked about it began swearing and making threats. When speaking to ******** Slater, he stated he was only given a receipt of the check and never received the check, though his property manager was given both in the same envelope. This entire situation is an unacceptable practice of business with the property manager being way out of line and completely unprofessional. This company is attempting to force me to pay October's rent again, even though this check was lost by their property manager. Also, on the same day this cashier's check was given, someone attempted to break into my unit, and the company again disregarded my claims. I had to use my funds to replace the lock on my door.
