On 8/20/2024, I dined at the ******* Grill and ************ located at ***********************. My bill total was $80.81 with tax and gratuity added. After getting home and reviewing my receipt, I realized that $6.41 was added to my bill for a total of $87.22. My card was charged $87.22. My form of payment was a bank card.On 8/25/2024, I returned to the restaurant and spoke to a "manager". I explained to her what happened and provided her with the receipt showing the additional charge. She first asked why I didn't return to the restaurant sooner than 8/25, then she said she would give me any meal on the menu for free (but its really not free as I am paying for a portion of the meal with the funds that was added to my bill), lastly she refused to refund the $6.41. I refused the "free meal" and informed her that I would be escalating my dispute through proper channels. This dispute is not so much about the $6.41 but about overcharging customers and not acknowledging or apologizing that it was a mistake/error (or was it), owning that it was wrong, and doing service recovery to make the situation right. I am uncertain of whether this is a deceptive practice of erroneously adding charges to the customer's bills to increase revenue and or increase tips of the servers. I am attaching a copy of the receipt. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

On July 25th,2024 I placed an online order for S2 **************************** on stony. The order was placed in advance for a later time pick-up. My families order total was $105.97. Upon arrival the restaurant employee stated half of the items were out of stock. No prior phone call or email had been sent out stating this. I asked to cancel the entire order since I would now have to go find food elsewhere. The employee asked another employee and then stated that management does not give them the option to cancel orders. They have no way of canceling the order or refunding the money so I would still be charged. The employee then stated to go online and email the manager and he will take care of it. The employees provided fake/unusable email addresses and it came back as mailer-deamon undeliverable. The employee also stated someone would let management know. They have been called numerous times and management never seems to be available. I tried emailing back the email address that sent me my confirmation order, to no avail. It has now been a week with no refund nor call back. I'm unsure if the employees are running scams that the employer is unaware of or are they all working together at this point. However nobody contacted me knowing they did not fulfill the order and refused to cancel it. As they stated they are incapable of canceling. I find it ridiculous that I need to contact anybody for my money back after they knew they didn't have the items available. The fact you would still charge my card in full and now I have to take it as far as filling a complaint with the BBB I will be looking into what to file against them in ******** if this doesn't work. I will attach the order and the mailer-deamon response emails. I also wasted my gas as this establishment is 1.5 away from my home. I would like to be reimbursed immediately.
