I had an eye exam and purchased two pairs of eyeglasses through Vision Works in March of 2022. Through multiple attempts to get my prescription correct, both pairs of glasses continued to come back to the store from their warehouse with the incorrect prescription, rendering the glasses useless for me. I finally stopped trying and just returned both pairs and requested a refund on July 19th, 2022. I was told by the store manager it would take up to 14 days for my refund to appear on my credit card. I didnt receive the refund within that time frame, so I reached out to the store. The manager attempted to call their corporate location (he said the individual stores do not process refunds), but ultimately said I need to call instead because he was unable to obtain information to help me. I have now called the corporate number 4 separate times and keep getting the run around. I have to wait on hold for about 20 minutes each time, then spend another ********************************************************************************************************************************* a few days about the status. When I asked to speak directly with that team, *** been told Im not able to, as they only communicate directly with the representatives. *** asked to speak with a manager and been told shes in a meeting and will call me back, only to not receive a call back. Ive now been waiting 42 days for my refund and no one can give me an estimate on when I should receive it. Meanwhile, Im paying interest on my almost $550.00 purchase, as I paid with my credit card. Everyone keeps saying their refund system is new and theyre behind in processing, yet Ive heard this has been an ongoing issue since at least April of this year. Their disconnect between departments and complete lack of understanding is unacceptable for such a well-known business.
