Deluxe Remodeling, Inc. was indeed hired to install a new roof and windows at this clients address; however, the job was finished. We apologize that it was not finished to your satisfaction, as it did not resolve issues on your property that Deluxe was not hired to fix. The gap that the customer is referring to it is the gap between the bottom of trailer home and the ground. The customer was upset that ********************** did not solve their rodent issue, as the gap between the floor and the home was not filled. Again, we are a roofing company we were not authorized to fill any gaps and were not instructed to do so. All work was completed following the StateFarm estimate that was approved for STORM/WIND damage. The customer is under the assumption that the siding would fix this issue and essentially close off the gap. ****** is done from the bottom of the house to the top of the house. Siding will not cover any gaps as it is not intended to do so. I am not entirely sure what the customer is referring to when they mention that square corners were not capped. Upon completion of the job, we sent a completion certificate to the insurance company in order to receive the remaining payment. The insurance company needs to confirm with the homeowner that the job was completed to his satisfaction before they release any payments. He let the insurance company know that it was complete, and they released the payment to my client. I picked up the payment a few weeks later and my client mentioned absolutely nothing about this matter or his dissatisfaction with my work.  A few months later, I received a call from a rodent inspector (at my clients property) with questions of whether we had a contract to re-do the foundation at this clients address. I let the inspector know that, again, we are a roofing company, and we did not have any sort of job to re-do this clients foundation. At this point, it was evident as to why this client wanted to state that the job was not complete, as it worked to his advantage in the rodent department. Deluxe completed the job in December of 2021. The customer complained in April of 2023 about the job not being complete to his satisfaction, a year and a half later. The rodent inspector also mentioned that he will be cancelling his own contract with this client, as he too, cannot install *************** onto this clients home and that would need to be the result in order to eliminate the rodents. I have attached a photo where you can see the gap between the ground and the home. I hope this response clears this all up.
