On 7/23/22 purchased 2 VIP tickets to attend Pesado concert at ********* Center **********************************************************. Total cost for 2 tickets I purchased $266.90. I received confirmation of my purchase on 7/23/22 at 7:44pm from ***************************** payment id: ***************************, Buyer: *********************** attended the concert on 8/7/22. While waiting in line to enter the concert, I was advised by the promoters that they're not accepting tickets purchased online and we would have to pay cash at the door to enter, but that they would refund online ticket purchases. I paid the same amount of money for the tickets via cash at the door. As of today, I still have not received my refund. I sent multiple emails to ******************************* and I also sent several text messages to ************. I was told Promoshare was working on refunding online ticket purchases, but I never received it. I would like to receive my $266.90 refund that I am owed.Initial Complaint

I had bought concert tickets from PromoShare. I bought 4 tickets with fees for $273.20 back on August. I was told that the tickets purchased online had trouble receiving the money into their accounts and cant let people who ordered tickets online in. Their solution at that moment was to tell people to buy another set of tickets at regular price ($60 a piece) and that all the money would be refunded back into the accounts they were taken from. When asked how would we know he would refund the money back, he just reiterated that we will see the refund in 3-5 days and that they could not give receipts for the tickets purchased at the door. I have contacted PromoShare numerous times via phone and email and i have not had a reply from them but once where i was informed i would receive my refund in 5 to 7 days and until today i have not received a full refund. I had to purchase tickets at the door the day of the event as well.Business response

The owner of Alta *************************** *****************************, has a marketing business named, PromoShare, that I had bought concert tickets from. I bought 2 tickets with fees for $136.60 on August 5th, two days prior to the event. I had my mom come out from 3hrs away to see the show with myself and my partner. Once we get to the entrance for the event were told by security and what appeared to be ****************** himself turning people away who purchased early bird tickets online because they had trouble receiving the money into their accounts and cant let people who ordered tickets online in. Their solution at that moment was to tell people to buy another set of tickets at regular price ($60 a piece) and that all the money would be refunded back into the accounts they were taken from. When asked how would we know hed refund the money back, he just reiterated that theyll see the refund in 3-5 days and that they couldnt give receipts for the tickets theyre purchasing at the door, but theyll give them a paper ticket, like a raffle ticket. *** tried communicating with him for over a month now and havent received my refund and I missed out on the show because I wasnt going to pay again for something that had already deducted from my account.Business response

Hello, we understand ****************** frustration. The refund has been processed via Venmo as we were unable to refund mr/ ******* card directly. Neither ****************** or any PromoShare staff were at this event turning away people. PromoShare was simply the ticketing processor for this event and not the event promoter. The promoter decided they didn't want to wait for transactions to process and collect cash from patrons who had already paid via credit card. This is not how PromoShare works and we were not aware the event promoter was going to do that.
