On February 12th 2020 we went to ?****************** in ********, ******. We were introduced to My ******************* where we get 8 weeks ?vacation a year for lifetime for the amount of $12,000-. and ****************** will buy from us 4 weeks vacation back, and in 3 days they will wire us the $12,000 back to our Citibank accounts. We did ?follow up and never got the deposit back. In February 17th 2020 we received a call from **********************************, who works for Silver Prime Properties in the US. She claimed they are the ones who will buy the 4 weeks vacation back from us and she requests that to get the $12,000 back to us we need to pay Silver Prime properties a closing cost fee of $2,280. ****************** never mentioned that we have to pay any closing costs to get our money back. We contacted ?Diamond Bay Resort and they didn't know anything about the closing cost.We contacted *********************** and told her it wasn't in the original contract that we have to pay any closing costs and we refused to pay it. Then we received a call from a representative who claimed that she works for ************** in ****** her name was ****** phone #**************** and ?she said she has our money and if we don't pay by the end of the week the $2,280 they will freeze the $12,000, but? if we will pay the closing cost ?they will reimburse whole amount of $14,280 in 3 business days (see attachment). She sent ?us an email with where to wire the money (see the attachment). On April 6th 2020 we wired the amount of $2,280 from our Chase account to Silver Prime Prime properties (include the wire attachment). ***** said we will receive the money back to our account in 3 business days. We never got the money back. Few days later Silver Prime emailed us a request ?for an additional $1,999 to convert the money from peso to dollars which we never paid. Additionally a company we don't know named GRUPO PERGIL ******** SIN *** split the charge of $12,000 to 2 payments of $5,363.54 and $6,631.87
