      This is a complaint against lucas tire in *******. On March third at about 5:30 my wife went in for a low tire warning and wanted to see what was going on. We thought it was going to be a simple patch, but they told her they could not patch it because it was too close to the sidewall of the tire. Which I acknowledege is valid. that is something that should not happen. But then they told her she needed four new tires, but will strike a deal with her for two instead. I hope you can already see how this story is already problematic. Sensing she was being taken for a ride, she called me from there. I happen to be going to school to become a mechanic. And this was the FIRST thing I said to the manager. What transpired was an intense argument I simply asked If we could buy ONE tire. New or used. I was was trying desperately to point out what they did right and I was more than willing to work with them, Instead of listening to what I was sayinf, the manager decided to talk over me saying how they are family owned, we'll match any price, blah blah blah. I stopped listening at that point because they were clearly aggitated. I told them finally we cant do business and told my wife to leave. my wife informed me later that the manager was being a "total bitch" to her. Then stared to cry. I did the right thing and left a bad review. they decided to respond to the review by reviewing US as bad customers. I edited my review to include I was reporting them to you. so here we are. What it boils down to is they showed little to no respect to my wife, tried to sell her a lie (the tire was legally patched the next day and we dont need new tires for months), acted rudely, were taking advantage of her because she was a woman (regardless of the managers gender), and were just being chidish instead of seeing the review as a learning experience. They will never have my business again, but DID promise I would report them.

      1/04/2022 I came in with a leaky tire, I was told it couldn't be repaired it needed to be replaced and the total cost would be $289.00 overpriced but I agreed, when I came back to retrieve my vehicle 1/05/2022 the price total was $376.19 when I complained about the discrepancy I was met with vulgar and insulting responses. I was never informed about the additional charges for a tire rotation, I did not ask for a tire rotation and I was not given an option to decline and I shouldn't have had to pay for something I was never told would be performed on my vehicle.
