******* helped book the trip and it was a trip of a lifetime. We did **** and ******** by Rail, with added days in ******. They helped us customize the trip and we felt like we had a VIP experience with private tours and easy-to-navigate logistics. ******* was great to offer support for the minor hiccups and additional questions. Every trip comes with a hiccup or two, and they were so helpful to respond quickly, ensuring that nothing was disrupted. We certainly could have done things on a tighter budget had I planned it all myself, but I could never have planned such a great trip on my own. I would book again!

I am writing this review in specific recognition of the work of employee, *************************. My wife and I were celebrating our twenty year wedding anniversary and going to see the northern lights in ****** was a dream. We had initially experienced a disappointment with the accommodations that were booked for us through the travel service. However, with speaking with ******* she validated our concern and was able to take appropriate action to resolve this issue. My wife and I encountered two other issues, that were entirely out of ******** control (a hotel inadvertently charging us for the stay and a cancelled expedition). Although both of these were out of ******** control she was attentive, expedient, efficient, patient, and kind in her management of the situation. With the support of ******** management of the situations my wife and I were able to relax worry free that the difficulties would be resolved It is a rarity that an individual like ******* is encountered and I believe her positive work should be recognized. She took the time to understand our concerns and I truly felt like she cared about the outcome for my wife and I. This personal touch was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Vacations By Rail for anyone looking to have a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. My wife and I will most assuredly be utilizing their service for future travel. And once again ************************* was the primary individual at Vacations By Rail that really provided this positive experience.

I just want to say what a great experience I just had speaking with one of ********************** at Vacations by Rail! I talked with **** today, and I had several questions as I'm driving to the start point of the tour and needed to obtain specific departure times for the first day. I also needed fairly specific return times for the last day. **** was able to provide both departure and return times, and included additional information that will make it easier for me to determine the best place to house my vehicle while I'm on the tour.He was friendly, and patient, and incredibly helpful! He answered all my questions and was instrumental in providing information that will allow me to fully plan my travel.Thank you, ****, for your EXCELLENT customer service!

My husband and I booked a train tour of *********** in 2019 for the summer of 2020. ******* was our point of contact for this trip and she was EXCELLENT! She answered question after question with much patience, always being very kind and efficient. Of course, COVID changed everything. Vacations By Rail allowed us to change our trip to the fall of 2021. However, the Delta variant was quickly spreading at that time, so we requested to change to the fall of 2022. Vacations By Rail was very accommodating! We were finally able to go on that much anticipated train tour and it was AWESOME! We are so grateful to Vacations By Rail for planning such a wonderful trip and for being so accommodating. Most of all, we appreciate *******. Her prompt replies, as well as her kindness and patience made planning the trip so much better. We would highly recommend ******* and Vacations By Rail for train travel.We are planning another trip for October **** and have been in contact with *******. Again, the service she has provided has been excellent.
