I went into contract on 9/4/2020, with a wedding venue named The Stockhouse. They also fall under HM Endeavours LLC or "Chicago Loft Venues". We signed this contract as well as another on 5/14/2021 with Libations Bites and Beverages which to my knowledge is run and managed by the same people as Chicago Loft Venues. The company has always been hard to reach and non-responsive. I thought to myself early on that they were tied up with numerous other events that were much closer in date to happening than ours. It was brought to our attention early in June of 2022 from our photographer that this location was having permit issues and needed to reschedule events or help relocate events from our venue. I reached out to *********************** on 6/3/2022 and asked him about these issues and he stated that The Stockhouse was waiting on a parking lot permit that should be resolved in July. If that was not resolved and impacted our date of our wedding which is 9/23/22 at The Stockhouse that they would either relocate us to The Zephyr (their other Venue), relocate us to a new venue, or refund our deposits and payments.Fast forward to last week 6/29/22 I wake up to comments of the business is on the brink of going out of business and potentially filing for bankruptcy. I've tried reaching out to both Chicago Loft Venues and Libations through numerous phone calls, emails with no response in 2 roughly weeks. Myself and many others have no idea if our event is even happening at any location, have no idea what has happened to any of our deposits and payments and have been in complete limbo waiting for an answer. We are all in waiting game as the business in which we went under contract with is unresponsive we are slowly running out of time to get married on this date. It has impacted us as we can't proceed with a new location until this one is resolved, we are unsure if our date will even happen or if we have to reschedule and all of our other vendors are waiting for an answer as well.

-Date and amounts of transactions: 08/27/2021 ($6,336.07), 10/29/2021 ($6,336.07) 03/27/2022, ($6,336.07) for a grand total of $19,008.21 -Business committed to provide us with 7 hours of a wedding reception venue at The Stockhouse (**** ************ Penthouse, Chicago, ** *****), all food and all alcohol/drinks, tables, chairs, wedding coordination, photo booth.-They have completely stopped responding to us. We were notified from our wedding coordination company (that was part of the contract with Chicago Loft Venues) that the venue owners have run out of money and have been cancelling weddings for months, due to not having a permit. From what we were told, the wedding venue didn't even plan on reaching out to tell us about this. The also included a catering company in our contract (**************** from ******, **) that was going to do our food for the day. However, when I contacted the owner of ****************, he had no knowledge of his business being included in the contract nor has he received any payment from Chicago Loft Venues..-Business has not tried to resolve the problem. They have no offered any refunded or any update. They have completely stopped responding to emails, texts, phone calls and voicemails. -There is a ************** of over 100 members who are in my same situation as not only did Chicago Loft Venues own our wedding venue (The Stockhouse), but a second wedding venue (The Zephyr, *********************************, Chicago, ** *****).-The Sales and Operations Manger, ***********************, was involved in a similar incident 7 years ago (https://abc7chicago.com/chicago-wedding-venue-west-loop-town-closes/911355/)-Not only are they operating under a breach of contract due to the catering company issue, but they are using deceptive business practices along with unresponsive communication. All of our contracts are now marked "expired" on the portal we used to pay.
