On December 18, my security door was finally installed. My daughter's were home and didn't notice the error because it looks black, however, upon seeing the door, when I arrived home, I noticed that the lock set was not black and black is on the order. I have called and was told someone would come out but they cannot provide me with a date. I have emailed and no one responds. I would like my black lock set installed.Business response

I have REPEATLY contacted Defender Door regarding my TERRIBLE $1700 installation on my front screen door. I'm a SENIOR is on a fixed income and MY security is ***EXTREMELY*** important. At this point Defender door is SCAMMING seniors.Business response

Purchased a security door $1500. Within a few months the door needed repair,screws too short had come loose . I called to report the problem and was told that department was short handed. I am still waiting to hear what they intend to do and when,months later.Business response

I initially took a call from ********************* on 07/15/21 regarding the issues they were having with the door. We had tried to schedule a service for them in August for the 13th and were unable to confirm the appointment. I called twice this morning and was finally able to leave a message asking them to call us so that we can come out this Saturday 09/18/21. Part of the problem is that often when we call, we get a fax machine like noise and are not even able to leave a voice mail. Again, I was finally able to leave them a message today and I did ask that they call the office as we can have someone out this Saturday. We hope to hear back so that we can resolve any issues they are experiencing.Customer response
